    Grand Floridian Keurig ?

@Shellyl64 let us know how you make out. I remember before the K-cup craze I would grind my beans every morning. We had coffee stores that sold an incredible selection of coffee blends.

    Grand Floridian Keurig ?

I seriously doubt it! I have seen coffee machines in hotels that use those huge coffee pouches, but they’re rare now.

Trail’s End Restaurant closing this Spring to reopen with a new concept

Many years ago Trails End was a sit down restaurant and a small bar area. There wasn’t any QS of any type. This was also before the refillable mug offering. You could get snacks and camping supplies at the trading posts. The food offerings were pretty slim. You basically had to make sure you...

100 years ago, a tradition began with you.....What are your family traditions when in the various Disney parks of the world?

Like many others the first and last day is always MK. On our first day, the first ride is always the WDW RR. In the time it was down for Tron, we substituted the People Mover.

    50th statues

Oh I’m sure that if all the MB+ did was flash off when I entered the park, I’d stick with my old MBs.

    50th statues

Well we do have the MB+ lighting up when you scan your finger in! But I’m not sure that’s worth cost of a MB+.

    50th statues

I would imagine they have quite a bit of Jack invested in those statues. From the Imaginerring part to the construction of them, including the installation. For a 50th celebration that was on the lethargic side, I found those little statues interesting. I’m happy they’re keeping them.

    50th statues

We had that happen to us several times at the entrance to Adventure Land. Right above the bridge near the Egg Roll cart there was a statue perched on a beam. We finally spied it after the 3rd or 4th time.

Well, anyone eat today at round up bbq?

Disney restaurants, wether QS or TS, are supposed to be unique or themed dining experiences. That’s the expectation. If you want mundane boring places to eat, try any McD’s or Burger King.

New 35 percent Annual Passholder discount offer at Walt Disney World Resort hotels for late summer 2023

Thanks for the advice, but I think we’ll pass on the Sea World visit. We may try Uni for a change. There’s a wealth of other options in the US to try. We won’t be lacking new adventure ideas for sure.

New 35 percent Annual Passholder discount offer at Walt Disney World Resort hotels for late summer 2023

We’ve been AP holders for quite a few years. Typically when we receive the AP discount notice, we immediately begun planning our next trip. Not this time. Our last trip in February simply left us unexcited about our next trip. Between the crowds, CMs seemingly uninterested in being there, the...

Do you think Grand Floridian would be a good fit?

We stayed at GF one time just to have that experience. I doubt we’d stay there again. It was so nice being at a Monorail resort and also within walking distance to our Fav park. But we just didn’t feel comfy there. We would do a split stay though at either Poly or the Contemporary for a few...

    Epcot help

I forgot to add that the Fish n Chips are way less expensive than the Rose and Crown. Not knocking the Rose and Crown because it’s a really nice restaurant, but we find the food and location relaxing.

    Epcot help

That’s why we do the QS Yorkshire County Fish n Chips. You can save quite a bit and you can usually score a table right by the water. They cook the fish up as ordered so you’re not getting something that has sat under a heat lamp all afternoon. The fries are always great as well. Definitely do...

    Slinky Dog photo

We actually have gotten someone else’s photos because the ride was out of sync. Especially on POC. We did receive 2 different photos at the HM and we had to choose which one was ours.

Help Me Choose Our Next Disney Resort!

While we really like Wilderness Lodge, I’m fairly certain you’re not walking from there to the Poly.

Annual Pass Question (Not about Availability)

We went to WDW a few weeks ago and presented our AP cards and never once were asked to bring out the digital copy on MDE. This included the World of Disney at Disney Springs. We did however have to show an ID card like our drivers license. Some Non Disney places saw my orange AP identifier...

    Thoughts on The Plaza?

On our last visit we left MK, took the boat to Wilderness Lodge, had a great lunch at Roaring Forks, then back to the MK. The boat rides are relaxing. On a side note, Roaring Forks recently added a killer meatloaf platter to their menu. It was one of those “feel good” meals.

    parks after 2pm w/o reservations

@Tuvalu, I thought I read weekends were not included with this new AP perk. Do you have any info on that part?

News Impressions de France only available for limited time in the mornings

I see your point. The films may be more entertaining than actually informative. But to be honest I have learned about the countries from watching the films.
