Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

I interpreted it as people are spending at a faster rate than they're earning.

News Return of the Walt Disney World tram fleet tracker

Woohoo! I guess Disney heard we'll be there the last week of September. While I don't mind walking, we're meeting family members who are not quite as mobile and a long hike from the parking lot would be a challenge for them.

    News Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2023

How about the monorail hotel guests who spent the day at Epcot via monorail and are trying to return to their hotel the same way? Epcot is usually open until 9:00pm and even later on extended evening hours. Having the hotel monorail stop at the TTC is the only way they are going to get back.

But the TTC is where monorail resort guests transfer to the Epcot monorail. Disney is not going to eliminate that.

    News Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2023

Here's something I hadn't thought about until I saw some of the costume pics just now in this thread. My wife and I are planning on dressing as Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, right down to the shoes/slippers (I'll post pics afterwards). :) Since we plan on spending all day at MK, we'll be...

    News Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2023

If Disney is offering discounted tickets for the MNSSHP, they are not being discounted by much. I bought two tickets for 9/24 two days ago thru Undercover Tourist and the total cost, with tax was $302.78. As far as whether Universal is discounting tickets, I must have missed that boat, too...

    News Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2023

Wow, after seeing that long line at the 4:00pm party check-in, I'm glad we'll miss all of that since we're arriving at the MK when the park opens in the morning on 9/24. I just hope that the MNSSHP crowds will be as low as what I've been led to believe by the comments on here. I will find out...

I'm trying to help out as much as I can. I bought two tickets for 9/24 earlier today. :)

    News Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2023

Has anyone on here been to both the Mickey's Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? My wife and I did the Christmas Party a few years ago (2018?) and we were rather disappointed, mainly due to the huge crowds. We were told by Disney that FastPass was not offered because it...

    Park reservations going away?

I'm pretty sure that you do not need a park reservation for their 4 day, 4 park ticket special at $99 per day that they're currently running. I guess we will find out in 40 days when we arrive. Okay, I just confirmed this on the WDW website. No park reservations needed. This ticket does not...

How Many Days for You? Part 12

We're staying in a beautiful 5 br house, about 5 minutes from the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. It belongs to a co-worker and he's giving me a very special deal. We have a lot of things to do for the 9 days/8 nights we'll be there. 4 days at WDW, one day at Universal and an overnight trip...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

Wow, I did a solo WDW trip in 2021 and my experience was just the opposite of yours. I'd read on the forums that people were staying away due to various COVID restrictions and I decided it might be a good time to go and avoid the crowds. I was right. It reminded me of the good old days.

You also get the opportunity to purchase individual LL tickets at 7:00 instead of waiting until the park opens, like those staying off-site have to do. ;)

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

I read on another forum that the remaining cruises before they close this sold out within 12 hours of the announcement.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

I would have enjoyed dressing for the part of whatever role I was going to play. However, at $3,000 per day that was never going to happen with me. We will be spending a week in the WDW area on the last week of September when the final voyage occurs. Unless they drop the price by at least...

The article said that the person is a college graduate trying to get money to go to graduate school. Someone in that situation is usually in their early to mid 20s. Compared to my age, that's a kid. The article also said that he/she "would be happy to get you what you need to make your...

Outrageous? I am pretty sure I said something along the lines of if a server does not want to put forth the effort where part of what they earn is dictated by their job performance they can get a job flipping burgers at McDonald's. Not an outrageous statement at all. And I repeated several...

Your pal has a double standard when it comes to rewarding servers, regardless of whether they are lazy and incompetent. He seems to think the opposite when it comes to other types of workers. If it were not for the two of you who continue to unsuccessfully try to label me as someone who shorts...

His reply to your question only reinforces that he has one standard for servers (apparently, whatever they feel like doing or not) and another for everyone else. Case in point below.
