DHS Soundstage 1 Renovation - Toy Storia Mania expansion

I could go for a cloning of Indiana Jones from DLR, modified of course so as not a direct clone, replacing the Indiana Stunt Show but that would be about it as far as cloning rides from DLR that aren't already at WDW. Maybe an Alice ride like DL but that is a relatively small ride and footprint...

DHS Soundstage 1 Renovation - Toy Storia Mania expansion

I know I'll be in the minority on this but I would much rather they add Crush's Coaster from DLP than copy Cars Land. I enjoyed Cars Land and RSR was a great ride but I want each coast to have things that are special and not be copies of each other. Let Cars Land be the draw for DCA and get MGM...

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

No, based on your previous and numerous posts you don't see any issue with Frozen taking over Norway and changing the original point of Epcot and WS, which is fine because it is your opinion but it does not match Disney's original goal for Epcot and WS. It was meant to be educational and not...

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

I'm so glad I took a break from this thread for the last few days. Nothing good has come about since I have been gone. The "pro Frozen/Epcot needs to be MK2.0" crowd completely misses the point of Epcot and they are trolling hard on those who really don't like this decision and us "keep Epcot...

Should we have an official HHN24 thread to share the news?

How have the crowds been after opening night? Most of the customer reviews online have said that Express Passes are a must but I'm wondering if the high crowd level was due to opening night/weekend. We are strongly considering getting EP for the first time in 14 years. The blog reviews have...

Should we have an official HHN24 thread to share the news?

Planning on going Oct 5. So glad to hear Halloween and Dollhouse are good as they are the ones I'm most looking forward to. We are getting pumped for this year. Overall looks to be solid. I'm not expecting much out of Dracula but the others seem like they have promise. We've done MIB every...

    Ride vehicle

Space Mountain (MK's single rider wide version). My other choices, Maelstrom boat and Living Seas Hydrolaters, would be too big to put in the house and make something out of.

    More Ride Changes

SM is still perfect the way it is, don't give them anymore ideas than they already have had. It's dark because space is dark. It's bumpy because its an old style roller coaster, unlike E:E smooth new style. Since the refurb it feels like it is actually brighter and it lost a little bit of...

Is the Great Movie Ride next?

Matrix is Warner Bros. The sequels also hurt the "value" of the original a lot in the general public's mind. Why change a young Eastwood for a old Eastwood? You are basically just swapping the AA for an older looking one. Why spend the money to do that? Shawshank............maybe but its going...

2015: The year of the EPCOT makeover?

They haven't added a country since Norway almost 30 years ago. What makes you think they are going to add one now? MAYBE Scotland after it becomes its own country and then it can be Brave country! The rat isn't anywhere near as popular as Frozen so I don't see them rushing to get a ride built...

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

I didn't hate the cake since it was only around a year or so. It was definitely a shock to walk in without knowing it was there but a nice temporary change (unlike the wand or hat).

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

One would assume they are going to demo basically everything down to the support beams and exterior walls of the ride building interior while keeping the ride system secure and safely intact. That will take time and time = money, then rebuild the interior from scratch. That is a good chunk of...

Is the Great Movie Ride next?

I'm confused, is there anyone out there that really doesn't like the Mans Chinese Theatre exterior of the ride? Or that it was and should be the icon for the park? It is a fantastic recreation and perfect icon for a "studios" park and especially one that now claims "hollywood" in its name.

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

To be fair, I think all of us can agree that there is nothing wrong with cupcakes, even Frozen ones. I may even be tempted away from the delicious German caramel corn for a tasty cupcake (the maple bacon cupcake from Flower and Garden was really good).

Is the Great Movie Ride next?

I started the thread on these forums about Frozen replacing Maelstrom on Jan 2, 2014 and I didn't read that story from Jim Hill. He didn't start it.

Is the Great Movie Ride next?

Why does the ride have to have more Disney characters!? It is called the Great Movie Ride not the Great Disney Movie Ride. There are so many other places for Disney to let their HUGE collection of characters and movies shine. Mary Poppins and Fantasia aren't even that great. There I said it...

Is the Great Movie Ride next?

A HUGE opportunity was missed from the get go back when it was MGM (it'll always be MGM to me). Bond, James Bond. If Bond replaced the Gangster section that would be fine with me. I like the gangster scene but its the largest section of the ride and 50+ years of Bond could be represented well...

Is the Great Movie Ride next?

I've ridden GMR at least 25 times since 2003 and I have never heard the "George of the Jungle" line. Thank goodness.
