The place was open 11 months ago, has been demo'ed, site prepped and is already two floors up and almost ready to frame in. Seems like they are moving at lightning speed for the way Disney operates.

You typically shouldn’t get that back. Things like that and pacifiers had to be thrown away since Disney didn’t want the responsibility of giving you something back that would go in someone’s mouth due to the cleanliness of the area an item was retrieved.
This seems like the show that Disneyland got last year - seemed super energetic. I realized that kids that age just love bright lights and quick movements.

Typically when the system goes down, scanning existing fastpasses isn’t an issue, it’s acquiring new ones. When the system is down, they tend to fake it anyways and just take your word.
