Would you like to see Disney Skyliner expand to all 4 parks and see the newly planned Brightline Train eventually connect WDW?

I have never experienced a 45 minute ride on the Skyliner. My experience has been a maximum wait of 5 minutes to board and 10 minutes to HS and 15 minutes to EPCOT. That is about the time spent waiting for a bus but I’m at the park. I feel that Skyliner is much faster. Plus, the views are much...

Would you like to see Disney Skyliner expand to all 4 parks and see the newly planned Brightline Train eventually connect WDW?

Not all… I come from Boston, home if the nations first subway station. There is the Red, Green, Blue and Silver lines. I hate driving into Boston and it’s cowpath streets. So I take the T whenever possible. Development has centered around T stations so you pretty much can go anywhere on the...

Hogsmeade vs Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

A good observation! For those interested, here is an article describing the many activities in GE...

Would you like to see Disney Skyliner expand to all 4 parks and see the newly planned Brightline Train eventually connect WDW?

So you say… I chose my routes to follow existing transportation paths. Florida highways specifically. So the impact on future development is minimized. Let’s assume your estimate of 7 miles and 40 minutes. Versus the current need to wait for 2 buses (20 minutes apiece) plus travel time (much...

Hogsmeade vs Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

I do have a complaint, that might apply to your “barren” complaint. I think the devotion the theme is problematic in one area. Signage !!! Most signage is in incomprehensible Star Wars universe characters. Which leads visitors to miss what’s going on. This may sound ridiculous, but sub-titles...

    Is Epcot's theme/mission changing?

EPCOT should be judged on what it is and might be, rather than what it was thought of in the past. City of the Future, Edutainment and permanent World’s Fair/Expo are concepts of the past. Sorry, but it’s so and we should stop judging EPCOT on these outdated concepts. Give it up! That train has...

Would you like to see Disney Skyliner expand to all 4 parks and see the newly planned Brightline Train eventually connect WDW?

You’re making assumptions. From HS, head to Coronado Springs and create a station there. Then, head down to the Blizzard Beach parking lot before turning to end at AK. The Skyliner appearance at BB is thematically consistentvb The Epcot line can swing behind the WS to the Monorail line and...

Hogsmeade vs Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

Most everything in GE is interactive if you have the Play Disney app. You can find contraband or weapons in the containers. You can discover secret transmissions and let the Resistance know. Or the First Order. The app is to GE like the wand is to DA. And it’s free (how much is a wand?). The...

Hogsmeade vs Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

I don’t know when you were there, but I’ve seen all of the examples you quote. Plus, Rey and Wookie working on a spaceship, Kylo Ren recruiting spies, Wookie getting spare parts, Stormtroopers marching through, creatures appearing in unusual places… There’s always been a lot going on while I was...

Peter Pan's Flight vs Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

I’d disagree that there’s nothing to look at. But I have a related concern. Did they speed up the ride? I found it difficult to enjoy each scene.

With all the recent changes, have they impacted you wanting to go to Disney any time soon?

I’m going in a few weeks, but with some trepidation. I paid for G+ And unusually added a PH. But I was very comfortable with Fastpass and fear G+ won’t meet my needs. But if nothing else, I’ll try anything. Once.

Need some advice on riding Remy

This entire thread is scary. Before all these arcane procedures, I could schedule my day and do everything I wanted and more. Getting a boarding group for RotR was difficult. Took me four trips to get one. But the ride was all tote more enjoyable when I got it. With Genie+, I don’t know if I...

Peter Pan's Flight vs Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Since 7DMT was the only ride we physically couldn’t fit into the seats, PPF wins by default. It amazes me that 7DMT is a “new” ride and the seats were too small. No judgement. Wait until you’re in your late 60s and it’s not unusual for your physical attributes to increase.

News Disney World's Splash Mountain closing in January 2022 for refurbishment

Fortunately, both are rides we wouldn’t have done anyway. Don’t feel like getting wet - at any time. And my gf had neck issues that prevent her from going on the wilder roller coasters. Which is most, except SDD.

Food portion cuts to increase profits?

In my opinion, meal sizes are too large. I can’t finish most meals at WDW. Making the portions smaller has no impact on me. I’m paying the same and eating the same amount.

Best WDW park in terms of rides?

Funny, I pick HS because it has the most rides that appeal to me and my gf. We are in our mid-60s and the water rides and roller coasters don’t appeal to us. MK has the most rides, yes but, most don’t appeal to us. EPCOT generally is appealing, but the ride variety is lacking (haven’t seen...
