Born and raised in So. Cal. Not sure why "Cali" is insulting. Doesn't bother me at all. But then I don't get the hang up over "Frisco" either. The fact that it rankles so much makes me want to use it.

Very true. This will make the rest of Disneyland look second rate. Good thing it's in the back of the park. If this was the first thing they saw coming in, the rest of the park would be a huge letdown. It only seems cohesive to you because you grew up with it. It really isn't all that cohesive.

One of the good things about Uni getting Potter is that it gave Disney a bit of competition. Universal still really isn't a big threat to Disney, but I do think they've pushed Disney to up their game.

Yeah, abrupt transitions are nothing new for Disney. Now a Star Wars/Muppets/Star Wars transition is kind of odd if it stays.

I loved that ride as a kid. Still like the idea behind it and would love a 21st century version of it. I suppose Body Wars was an update on the concept.
