The weather hasn't been a factor in the lift being out of order recently. I don't know anything more than that they've been working on the lift since the week before Thanksgiving.

There's just one performer for each character. There are multiple characters within each role, ie cop, director, public works, etc.

It might be pre-recorded, but I can confirm that many of the actors for the show are equity (as they're being pulled from the sing along.) Some of the actors aren't full equity, rather character performers with a case by case equity contract.

Driving past it backstage this morning, there's no other obvious demo taking place that I could see. They're continuing to remove the trams from they're parking area. They're out at all hours. I just got to studios & they're out. It looked as though they were running radar on people coming in as they were circling the tram lane. (Although it was dark and kinda hard to tell exactly which way they were facing)

Where abouts were they sitting at studios? (By the end of the cast lot, by the tram lane, etc?)

No walls, just no more CMs around those guest areas. All the signage was down by Sunday morning.

They become part of the AEA, which is the big union for theatre things. They're still Disney CMs, just under a different contract.

They had temporary equity contracts, which allowed them to still do regular character shifts when not needed at Frozen. They've now been given full time equity contracts, which means that's all they're able to do for Disney now.

If you count all the technicians, costuming, cosmotology, operations, the numbers affected by show cuts are much higher than 100. At the American Idol cast event yesterday, there were at least 100 people there, and most of them were people you never see on stage.

Anything about it being extended it's still just speculation. I'm on the costuming team for the event & I've heard so many rumors about what's supposedly happening after the end of September. I would love for it to be extended because it's a fun event to work & the people are great, but I'm not...

When I was working the Halloween parties last yer, I seem to remember 20,000 being thrown around as capacity for them.

This happens on most evenings throughout the year, except during the winter months. Just an extra pop up set with the possibility of different characters each day. (Although it's frequently the same ones)
