Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Checked Uni prices and $174 for a 1 day /2 park ticket. Looks like No parks, a little table service, 3 pool days, and other "stuff".

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

However, at $154 per ticket to get into the park, there is no way we will pay that. Guess we will just go to AK lodge for dinner...

News from the New York Times today: "Is a Disney Theme Park Vacation Still Worth the Price?"

They will not. It will only work if prices rise at a higher rate than attendance decline. If prices rise at the same rate of decline, this will only result in zero growth. While medium class is priced out of attendance, food and merch, upper class will not purchase more merch and food to...

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

Why?? Fixed CAPEX expenditures. They seem to only want to spend a fixed amount for construction per month. If you build 2 projects at once, they will take 2x as long to complete.

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

It appears that WDW only allocates a fixed amount of $$ for construction (CAPEX) per quarter. As a indidual attraction does not have an explicit income per ride (LL not included), ROI is difficult to define. Therefore, construction expenditures have to be justified across park ticket sales as a...

News 2023 TEA/AECOM Global Attendance Report, EPCOT Sees Significant Growth

That would mean, at any one time, 5-6 attractions would be in some state of construction at any one time. This being due to the fixed capex program.

Rumor Frontierland Shootin' arcade to close and replaced with DVC Member lounge

They are finally going to do it! A Wesern themed brothel as a DVC lounge. If the processes work there, that will surely turbocharge DVC sales

There was also a report today that Burning Man is also experiencing low ticket sales. This would have been unheard of in the 2010's. Since the 2010's, ticket prices have steadily risen. I think the overall symptom we are seeing is a lack of disposable income. Burning Man has responded by...

Disney Experiences Cast Members May Now Swear Onstage?

Do you have a copy of the "Rules to Work By"? If cursing is explicitly or even implicitly expressed in the document, the ee will be placed in the progressive disciplinary system. If they are a general performance/disciplinary problem, they may well be terminated. It all depends on what is...
