Wow, this is the first time I've heard you not rule out monorails entirely! There's hope yet... (I'm not endorsing monorail expansion, but I do endorse rail of any type!)

I still do. By the way, did you see the news that Las Vegas approved plans to expand the monorail system there? It's a small section, but at least they are actually expanding it! Construction is set to begin once an issue is solved with a water pipeline running where a the system is planned to pass.

In the small city I'm living at, they are linking new buildings that are under construction together using an elevated fixed track system that is definitely more high tech and higher capacity than this proposed gondola system. If it's cost-effective here to build such a system, I can't...
