Interesting, it may not be a typo. Ever since the Dopey Challenge was introduced it seemed like the Goofy Challenge was slow to sell out as most challenge runners upgraded to Dopey. Turning the Goofy Challenge into a half and 10k would make it comparable to the challenges in other race weekends...

When Paris did their race this way I wondered if WDW would be far behind. Sound like this is a test case to see if race packages would work at WDW.

Take the monorail. Why pay for a cab when you don't need to. Yes, you need to be on the bus/monrail by 3:30. There will be over 20 thousand people trying to get to the same place at the same time. Closed roads will add to the congestion. Running any race involves a lot of waiting before the start.

It's the week of the race and still no certification. Very odd. What are the benefits from certification? I know if you want to qualify for Boston it needs to be on a certified course, but since that's not the case here why would we care if the course is certified?

I was thinking the same thing. There is no reason why the Star Tours simulators couldn't be moved into a new show building in the new land. And then the old show building, Backlot Express, and Indy area becomes phase 3.
