2 weeks, AP holders and non resort ticket holders get to book 30 days out? Or is there another category of ticket I am missing? And in the old days of paper fp's if you walked in at 7pm, what was the likelyhood of getting any fp's at all?

No there is a difference between a dog trained to help calm and a dog that simply calms someone by its mere presence. The second is not covered under the ADA. Like I said a dog that is trained to calm is also trained how to behave in public. And in realiy its only going to be when an untrained...

New Florida law addresses "fake" service animals with possible jail time

emotional support dogs are not considered service dogs and can be denied. The dog has to be trained to perform a specific task to help with a disability, which is why they are allowed to ask what the dog is trained to do. If the owner says provide emotional support, thats not enough. Its just...

New Florida law addresses "fake" service animals with possible jail time

Its hard to refuse the person entry, but the owner has to keep the animal under control. The difference between a fully trained service dog and an untrained dog is fairly obvious. This just gives the establishment an option when an animal is not under control and the owner will not leave.

My recent experience with the (now MDE connected) DAS pass

We used it this weekend but only twice, as we have been able to use FP+ to replace it for most of our planned rides. I agree on all your issues as we experienced them to some degree. The CM's we had used Iphones which connect to the Hub app via either wifi or 3g connections(they looked like...

More families of autistic kids sue Disney parks

Never have I said that my son should get more, the only person saying that is you. Every family that has been touched by a disability has to struggle more than the average family and some families have a much harder struggle than others. More families of autistic kids sue Disney parks

Oh Buzz why do you make this so so easy. I see you have learned to cut and paste from your previous posts. So lets play a game so you can figure out where that 10 minutes comes from. So first question have you used a fast pass lately? And a bonus question my family went to 2 parks this weekend...

More families of autistic kids sue Disney parks

The ADA speccifially requires you not to ask for proof. This is a legal requirement that Disney can't get around unless the law is changed or the judge rules it so( which would likely get an appeal).

What does a DAS do for someone in a wheelchair? Simply put making the queue wheelchair accessible is a reasonable accommodation. Again there are many reasons why someone in a wheelchair could get a DAS, but simply being in a wheelchair is not one of them. I mean if you really want to go after...

    DAS attached to Magic Band

we used the new electronic DAS today and it was very well implemented and easy to use. First the only big change is that when getting one your whole party must be present, or at least your passes/magicbands. The app basically builds your party by reading the bands. One person is assigned as the...
