What is a stretch if the attraction centers on animals? The plot of the source films does not necessarily determine the plot of the attractions. The Pandora attractions also do not center on the plot of the movies, nor does Dinosaur revolve around the plot of Dinosaur.

They are already telling workers to vacate the Animation offices whether or not Monsters is going there. They absolutely don't have to build other offices elsewhere before they start anything in the area. Not sure where you got that idea.

Pretty sure they've not done topiaries at F&W for at least several years, and even when they existed, I only recall a few, all of which more or less have replacement displays.

Their inability to deliver on any of the promised festival decor both inside and outside has been weird. Even what was there for Flower & Garden clearly wasn’t designed for the space. The proportions were all wrong on that Birth of Figment planter flanked by oversized ugly artificial daisies.

The stage shows sometimes move inside for weather, so perhaps they use them then. But it’s supposed to be flex space for exhibits and whatnot as well. Whether or not they’re actually using it for that now, I imagine that’s why they’re there.

It is vastly more trouble than it’s worth to connect to Fantasyland when you can just loop between Liberty Square and western Frontierland. Again, I could see them doing something down the road if Haunted Mansion or Small World ever get the axe, but that’s pretty unlikely in the near term.
