    Table vs Quick/ Counter Service

we usually do our TS at lunch, need the longer break- out of the sun and crowds- then. Dinner is often quick service, or once per trip Hoop de doo! Breakfast is usually quick in the room, but one buffet to meet characters

    Flight of Passage

obviously, I don't know how your child will fare, but I will tell you how ours did. My oldest grandson is very much on the autism spectrum. Cannot do soarin', splash mountain, test track, roller coasters, even tea cups. He gets dizzy on "spinny rides" and has a fear of heights and speed and...

    I don't need the fries

Reminds me of a trip I made to McDonald's a couple years ago. I ordered one Egg McMuffin. Just that. The lady said "well, right now they are 2 for $2.00" No, I said, I only need one. That will be $2.39. Wait......you're charging me 39 cents to NOT TAKE the extra sandwich. Yes,, there's a...

    Aggressive/Nasty Security Member Encounter

well...…...ok, you make sense but I still take issue with your example. I always bring a "little" emergency medical kit with some important stuff- meds, bandaids, dressings, and most importantly sterile surgical glue. I am surgeon, so I have access to this miracle stuff . Always bring it with...

    Aggressive/Nasty Security Member Encounter

We were stopped by security twice last week and told we couldn't bring in a "gun". (see pic below) When we pointed out that they sell "bubble guns" themselves in the park, it got us nowhere. They sent over a supervisor, who said "if it shoots bubbles, and it's plastic, it's not a gun! And we...

News New Stroller Size/Wagon Rules and Enforcement - Effective May 1 2019

You're missing the best part of this. They can install stroller vending machines like the carvana car vending machine. You go vertical, takes up less room, strollers go up and down and yours comes out. That HAS to be a major upcharge to use that thing. All the kids will want to do it...

    New Skillets at Whispering Canyon

Dear Captain America, I don't believe that my last comment, that i "just wished they hadn't dumped so many of the a la carte items" is excessively dramatic. Simply stating an opinion on a new menu. Hardly threatened suicide over this. And my grandkids all ate everything at four years old...

    New Skillets at Whispering Canyon

I'd like to think that, but not always true. Some places enforce the age limit, some do not. It's usually the more expensive places that do enforce it. We've been denied that when with my nieces and nephews. I've been told that some places will let you order an "adult size" portion of...

    New Skillets at Whispering Canyon

yes, there is, and I appreciate everyone trying to fix this for me, i really do. But again, that is on the kids menu which is only to age 9. M y oldest grandson is 10. So it's the $33 all-you-care-to-eat for him. Almost all of which is not what a kid wants to eat, nor do I want to pay $33...

    New Skillets at Whispering Canyon

yeah, the two younger still qualify as kids, the 10 year old does not. and some places let you order from kids anyway and some don't! and the only 3 entrees are not kid friendly. not seeing him eating a steak, or salmon or quinoa!
