Got to see this today with some show issues. Witnessed a broken preshow, a prolonged stop in the carnival, a broken projector in the underwater scene, and a frozen Daisy animatronic.

This structure was installed overnight. Apparently it’s a merch stand.

A portable sign is up that says “ramp closed 3/6/20” by the current ramp/overpass that goes from Osceola WB to World Drive NB, so I assume the new road by the cast entrance should be completed shortly.

It’s been down fairly often. CMs are consistently being told “please come back later.” Not sure how long the break downs have been but they have happened daily.

The green trash cans with the Chinese Theater are all throughout the park in the non-themed-lands.

Would they pull a Galaxy’s Edge and open the expanded part of the pavilion even if the ride isn’t done? If the restaurant is ready to go and the space is walkable but the ride is still testing, would they open the area early?

Agreed. As sad as it is to see the Town Crier cut, I‘d rather have some daily version of the show that’s cheaper because of no Equity actor than have no show at all.

I find that hard to believe. The whole show kinda centers on the idea of the Chinese Theater being open and hosting a new short Mickey cartoon. I don’t see why they would have this running for the 10 months leading up to MMRR and then stop it 3 weeks after the ride opens.

I believe the current plan is to use the stages in the morning for rope drop (the huge signs directing guests towards SWGE and TSL are considered beneficial) and the roll them backstage once the park is open and the morning crowds have died down.

Muppets already went 101 for part of the day because of the animatronics.

I thought the rumor was that the entrance would be down near Oga’s, but there is a small parking lot next to Rise so perhaps they’re using that as a staging area?

The Courtyard must be kept clear during pyro, but you can go right up next to the Courtyard. The ride will still operate, you just have to enter from the side and not the regular front entrance.

Sounds solid to me. Should also manage MMRR to an extent. If they finally bring down boarding groups to an hour-long return window all day instead of just early morning, should keep people out of line from MMRR. Would you risk being in a 2-hour line for MMMR if you only have 1 hour to get to...

Not disagreeing with you, but just for argument’s sake I’d like to point out that the Epcot Experience preview is mostly reusing Mission Breakout animation so it’s likely not indicative of the overall style of the Epcot ride and is just the cheap and easy choice.

Good to know. Had heard Boarding Groups would change to both 1-hour OR 2-hour. Wasn’t sure what that would look like. Definitely seems like the first groups only have a 1-hour return. Would bet some of the last groups called will have a 1-hour window as well to allow them to call groups closer...
