Live-ish blog. My thoughts and observations April 7-13

The AC thing would be a deal breaker for me. I am pretty tired of the hospitality industry in general claiming that the cut backs are part of their "Green Campaign" Not really. Hotter hotel rooms and guests reusing their towels, saves a tremendous amount of money. But being at the parks...

    MDE Down all morning 4/12/17

Does Disney lose money when their websites crash? They certainly don't act like it affects them.

    MDE Down all morning 4/12/17

That stinks. But at least once you get to the park, you won't be reliant on their subpar IT for ride reservations!

    MDE Down all morning 4/12/17

I wonder these people will become frequent flyers. I'm glad they had you in their corner. But what about the other first timers who get the shaft?

    disney decline sad to see

I think the slow season has been eliminated by Disney's ability to right size the staff based on anticipated attendance.

But remember everyone, FP+ is so much better than Legacy!

    disney decline sad to see

I have to say that I think the Universal resorts are far from mediocre. We stayed at the Portofino and the room was a lot more luxurious than a Disney deluxe resort and about 1/2 the price.

I wish the parks were sold to a company that really cared about the guest experience. I know, it's wishful thinking!

Disney to pay $3.8 million to park workers charged for their costumes

Only because they were caught. doing the right thing is not breaking the law in the first place!

Disney to pay $3.8 million to park workers charged for their costumes

Is this going to be taxed? If so, the CM's should expect about $50.

Did Disney forget to reset their IT clocks?

I didn't know the conversation was an argument either. Hey, we agree on something!

Did Disney forget to reset their IT clocks?

Well I should give Disney IT some credit. I remember when the FP booking window opened at midnight 60- 30 days out. So having it open in the morning is a lot better.

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

But couldn't the utility work be for any number of things at WDW? Is there a reason that you are positive that this is for the Gondola project?

News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner -

Thanks for providing a copy of the permit. However based on Disney's current construction pace, I can't believe this will be completed in 2019. Couldn't this just be a Red Herring? It's an awfully inexpensive way to get the fans all hyped up about an upcoming project without even breaking...

So are you saying this project will be completed in 2 years?

Did Disney forget to reset their IT clocks?

I'm sure someone will respond with, "well, you don't need it now there's always SB. But the thing is, SB is longer than it used to be for all of these rides. I used to appreciated the SB lines at WDW, because you kept moving. The wonders of FP+ have created SB lines that never seem to move.

Did Disney forget to reset their IT clocks?

Not really. Since HM didn't have FP's, nor did ISAW, Teacups, POTC, Autopia, Buzz..... Need I go on?

Did Disney forget to reset their IT clocks?

According to the screen shots, you checked at around 2 pm and the HM had an available FP for 10:30pm. So only 8 1/2 hours later? Is that supposed to make people happy? I just don't view this as great news.
