I also did, and verified that availability For the two hotels start on September 16 but not prior. But also, that has been the case before their weekly cancellations... this one is just interesting because, prior to this, the weekly cancellations were “through August 8”and “through aug 22” then...

So, San Diego County got off the watch list today, and Sea World San Diego still has hours starting on the 28th of August. I’m sure there have been some behind the scenes discussions. I wouldn’t be surprised if we heard something soon. I can FEEL it 😂

I agree with you, but I also fear that the same thing that happened around July 4 will happen again, with spikes and with shut downs. So give it a month after Labor Day weekend and hair salons will reopen, then they will consider theme parks, and oh look, it’s November 😢

I saw they implemented it for WDW just yesterday, so I would be more surprised than not if they don’t do that here.

I was wondering that when I saw the universal site a few days ago! AND sea world San Diego has dates starting Aug 28... we as a public don’t know anything, but has Newsom been working with the parks on a modified opening? Idk.. another thought is more so they are hoping and prepping for this...

Also, just an update, DL is sending out cancellation emails to those with hotel reservations through Sept 5 now.

I haven’t seen any of these locations preCOVID, so I only have this current situation to compare them against one another. I’m sure I’ll love CityWalk for more nightlife stuff, it’s just not being offered right now and it was not fun when I went during the day. But I’m excited to try more things...

Idk, I would have agreed with that previously, but as I am a local and have gone multiple times—and witnessed the crowds—I don’t think that is the case. Reservations are almost always filled on Open Table or Disneyland App. Lines are typically long at all Disney-opened stores. And I don’t go on...
