News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I definitely agree. I'd love if they would revive some of the ideas they had like the Italian boat ride. A mix of IP & original would be nice for WS.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I think EPCOT still needs some love. I was there on Tuesday for most of the day & all I did was LWTL & the festival. The wait times for the rides are ridiculous just because there's not many of them. Frozen & Ratatouille shouldn't have E-ticket wait times. I'd probably say: DAK=DHS > EPCOT > MK...

Obscure/forgotten/old Disney IPs that you like to have a ride in the parks

It's not technically Disney's IP but I'd kill for them to revive the Dick Tracy plans. That ride sounded awesome especially it would've been developed during peak Imagineering, so it probably would've had some killer sets & animatronics. As for strictly Disney IPs, I'll be selfish & say...

Will Frontierland At Magic Kingdom Be Removed?

I love Frontierland & I hope they never get rid of it. It's actually my favorite land at WDW. However, if it was up to me, I think it'd be cool if they reworked it. Make the current area from the shooting gallery to Pecos Bill into a New Orleans area to fit in better with Tiana & to have more of...

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

That'd be a waste of the Tiki Room AND the Moana IP. Moana is just begging to be a cool water D or E ticket. I wonder why they don't aim for this more. If the rides are already going to have a height requirement then go furtherlmao

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

If they actually cared then they'd build South America as an actual expansion & then start remaking Dinoland after SA is done. Or they should lower the price of DAK until SA is done. What would you want to do with Nemo? It already has a show & a ride. Though, I wouldn't be opposed to the...

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

DLR deserves expansions too. But those two parks are in a much better state than most of WDW.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

The movies & shows were doing good back then. Now they're depending on ol' reliable to make money. God, that'd be insane if DLR gets two additions & WDW only gets one...

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

I definitely get the reasoning but if the other WS rides aren't going to be original ideas then I'd prefer Coco over any other IPs. It'd be a natural fit for the WS on top of being an amazing movie. They can still technically do this. You won't be entering the actual studios like you used to...

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

3 Cabs isn't my favorite ride but it's a nice smaller ride that can disperse crowds a bit. I think the Mexican pavilion is popular enough where it could justify an expansion; especially since I don't think we'll be seeing any other countries anytime soon.

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

I imagine he's just guessing but I'd be down for Moana being lumped in with the BBTM expansions...if it's in Adventureland; just do both expansions at the same time. Moana anywhere else in MK would be idiotic. I think Adventureland is the weakest land in MK. It seems like Indy really helps...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

I think the theming is better in Velocicoaster. The only wow moment in Tron is the scene in the queue when the window reveals the rest of the line. But Velocicoaster has the raptor animatronics in the line, the fantastic rock work in the actual ride, etc... I think Tron works well in...

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

I definitely agree with what you said of a completely original ride being better for the IP & that this ride has an uphill battle as it's replacing one of the GOATs. I just think others using this movie's initial middling success as an argument isn't justifiable tbh.

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

It's crazy that people are trying to use PATF's popularity as a reason to diss the new ride when probably 99% of the people who rode Splash never saw what it was based on lmao

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Velocicoaster is actually fun enough where you don't realize it's so short. To me, it feels "just right" length wise because every second is fun. Tron though? I was waiting for it to really get fun & it never did. It's fun enough like any coaster can be but it's nothing special. Excluding...

    RnRc Retheme?

I still think the WDW version is more fun than RnRC. Maybe it's the theming that helps Space for me. RnRC is just a big pile of meh from me. The theming isn't very good & the thrills aren't as fun as what I can find 30 minutes away at IOA or even a short walk away over to Guardians. It's...

    RnRc Retheme?

It's nowhere near as fun as either of those though. I'd be okay if they gutted RnRC to help make way for a new land. I would say they'd have to add a new coaster either in that new land or in Galaxy's Edge.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

WoL sitting there empty for so long is one of the most idiotic things in park history. Why didn't they just tear it down & put Guardians there while keeping Universe open?

NonDisney IPs that eventually could fit in Disney Parks

I think an issue with Marvel so far is that they don't want to go all out on rides that can't bring to WDW. It's annoying that they're like that since they should try their hardest with every attraction, but I can see that being the reason. The two best Marvel attractions made by Disney are the...

NonDisney IPs that eventually could fit in Disney Parks

Studio Ghibli would be a great addition. Their films are timeless & they have an association with Disney since Disney distributed many of their films in the US. LOTR is another good one. I'd honestly prefer if that went to EU, but I wouldn't blame Disney for going after it. It's not as big of a...
