    Permits 2024

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, "today staging area tomorrow something else" ...but the Rivers of America is roughly a 12 acre plot of land. The turquoise areas in this permit total about 48 acres, generally the "Construction Staging Area" doesn't need to be 4 times bigger than the...

    Permits 2024

Do you seriously think they need 48 acres of "construction staging"?

    Permits 2024

I noticed if you put all these plans together, and add in the Fire Mountain blueprint... not only do they all line up pretty well to, but it looks a lot like what they've proposed at Disneyland and California Adventure, which is "expand the parks to the west" ...and maybe that large resort area...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Here's some crazy ideas... Permanently dock the Liberty Belle and turn it into a lounge with live music and a spot for watching parades and fireworks Keep Tom Sawyer Island but put a Pocahontas area/stage show in the center of it Build the Cars thing in Epcot next to Test Track replacing...

    Permits 2024

In this permit it looks like they are laying gravel down in areas "Marginally Suitable" for construction, and if you pair up this permit with the 2032 RCID Comprehensive Plan from February, right across Floridian Way there's a large area marked as "Potential Hotel/Resort" area, it's marked by...

    Worst Move in Parks History

WDI seems to think in terms of what I call "Disneyland Mentality" which is "cram as many rides as you can into that tiny park" but every themed hotel at Walt Disney World is about creating a kind of nostalgic ambiance for you to sit in and enjoy, and it's like they don't seem to get that the WDW...

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

The concept art they released is just that "a rough concept" kind of the look and "feeling they were going for, it's not like real thought out blueprints I had a similar idea that there could be a "path" near the Pinocchio Village Haus, but this is what "I wish" they would do... there's so much...

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

They "could" do that, but the cars thing seems like a quick fix to me... and I think if they get rid of that canal they can expand the new Tiana area and stick that Fire Mountain ride out in front of the park between Jungle Cruise and Pirates... at least I hope that's where this is heading maybe...

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

As much as I'd like them to keep the River boat running, it's way cheaper and easier to permanently dock it, and I think cutting off that backstage canal is part of the objective here, because that canal lets snakes and alligators into The Rivers of America. Those warning signs all around...

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I don't think either of these are a good fit for Magic Kingdom, but if they remove the river they can easily run the cars under the train bridge, and would have a lot of space for both Cars Land and Villains Land

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

🥹 Sorry to make you cry, I just loved what EPCOT Center was about ...I don't think IP is a bad thing though, but reusing the same handful of IP everywhere is kind of boring to me. Like if they put the Disney Villains land in Hollywood Studios behind Tower of Terror where Fantasmic is, but used...

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

I've been going to WDW since 1979, last trip was 2018 around 4th of July and it was kind of crowded but a lot of things were still "walk on". I remember the Little Mermaid that year was a a walk on... but I just got back from a 9 Day trip yesterday and the crowd levels were significantly lower...
