News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

It's still "Hollywood Studios" so there is a little more free rein in allowing IPs to mix together. Just look at the Echo Lake area with Indy and SW next to each other. And Muppets just beyond SW.

News Mando and Grogu Join Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

If they're included that means Han Solo, Luke, Leia, and the gang are still around. No, I wouldn't expect to see them but would be interesting to know how Mando and Grogu are now in Han's ship. The current version is set in the sequel era.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Any possibility for animals in the new area? Obviously, holding pens would have to be built to keep them at night. Piranhas probably wouldn't be a good idea, though.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I don't think they got rid of Fountain of Nations for the sake of getting rid of it. But if they were going to put in Moana: Journey of Water, it's likely they couldn't have both that and the fountain.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

If they did this to DL, they would have to come up with another solution to Fantasmic or end the show. Fans would revolt if that happened.

That's my hope. FIFY. Showing the walkway continuing around the new southern end of ROA and up into a potential Villain's Land.

Then just a cheesy blue sky art then. Oh well.

Seems that way, doesn't it? I already had the trip planned but yeah.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

It's still the water and island to the right of Big Thunder. At least that's how it looks in the artwork.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

We all thought that maybe the upper half would get cut off. Instead its the lower half. It appears the upper half is still there, unless this is thrown together artwork and they didn't think about that. Could they still retain the riverboat in the upper half with the launch just on the other...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Fair enough. But I hope they save the Liberty Belle and, if so, stays in WDW somewhere.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

We need a definitive answer on what is going to happen to the riverboat. And, no, destroying it is not an answer. Fantasmic would be great but I'm told it won't fit. How about dropping it into Echo Lake as a walk on exhibit? Can it be used as an actual boat on SSL? We know it's on a track in...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Well have several things to do on the WDW bucket list (Not mine but the parks') on my trip in October: Liberty Belle Riverboat TSI DINOSAUR It's Tough to Be A Bug Muppets (not yet verified but this could go away if the Monster, Inc coaster is put in the former Muppets Courtyard. I'm already...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Finally chiming in. Sad to see TSI and Rivers of America go away. Without question the river boat should be moved to Fantasmic and replace the clunky boat they have there now.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2024

Every time. Interesting that they're not included this year.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2024

Why do I have a feeling this is another one of WDW's efforts to remove "problematic" elements? Remember all the discussions of the 7 Dwarfs with the live action movie?

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event—Coming to Anaheim Next August

My church live streams almost everything. But we had a specific event one time which required tickets for admission. Obviously, we didn't live stream.

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Too bad its not the reality in the federal government. That is the very reason Disney and the everyday workforce is looking for "opportunities to do more with less".

News Tropical Storm Debby Possible Impacts to WDW

Yep. I work for the state ( shocking, I know, living in Tallahassee) and offices are closed tomorrow. The last Cat 1 we had was Hermine in 2016. Doesn't take much to knock out power here. Tallahassee prides itself in being a "canopy city" (trees everywhere). That means fallen trees create power...
