News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

I have a guess, but don't want to mislead because its mostly a guess.

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

Can confirm this is not CURRENTLY the location for the attraction. And was not at the time of the announcement.

Rumor Tokyo Disneyland Splash Mountain Retheme Discussion

There is no way for Disney to force OLC to spend money. If OLC agrees to a re-theme, it's because they truly believe they will make a superior product. And I have had no reason to doubt OLC yet. Plus - OLC has already turned down a Splash retheme once before. I'm sure this is among several...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

My wife does as well and I had her read the RAI, and she said this is all par for the course. At most it'll just take up more time from the planners internally to respond.

News Test Track to be reimagined

Any comparisons for what that kind of budget typically gets us? Anyone know how much the ToT retheme to Guardians was in DCA?

It's a Small World with Groot

I'll be crucified for this opinion but I don't think Small World should have existed in any park outside of Disneyland. As absolutely odd as this is, I think its very wacky/fun and those miniatures are exceedingly cute. This hurts nothing and nobody. I wish the domestic parks took more swings...

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

Mystic you're not getting nearly enough credit for how comprehensively you nailed almost all of this

News Red Car Trolley to close in early 2025

I think the fact that they were floating this years ago and didn't pull the trigger means it's not happening anytime remotely soon. For the time being the theme is that you're in California, and you're having an adventure.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

It's starting to feel like they haven't announced that its replacing MV3D because someone realized how close we were to the 70th.

News Red Car Trolley to close in early 2025

The trolley lines limit the height of floats.

News Red Car Trolley to close in early 2025

I think DHS is near the bottom of the list for Disney theme parks but purely from a attraction profile perspective its hard to make the argument to any normal person paying to get into a theme park that DCA is better. If DCA adds Pandora E ticket, Avengers E & B tickets, and Coco E ticket...

News Red Car Trolley to close in early 2025

This is actually a move to preserve thematic integrity, Los Angeles is notorious for its lack of public transportation.

News Red Car Trolley to close in early 2025

Ah, fair point. I don't think I ever looked at this again since the announcement.

News Red Car Trolley to close in early 2025

On an optimistic note, removal of the trolley frees up a lot flexibility for new parades

News Red Car Trolley to close in early 2025

We said our goodbyes when Avengers campus was announced but still sad to see it finally go. Does anyone remember that weird concept art they released that made it look like the trolley would be undergoing some kind of crazy looking spiderman retheme?

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I will remain optimistic to the end but the phrase "bad news travels slowly" has yet to serve me wrong in life. I feel like if it was AC we would have a consensus from multiple sources by now.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Going to be there in a week for our annual trip. Just wish I knew if we need to say bye to MV3D forever or not.

News Avatar Experience coming to Disneyland Resort

You would be very disappointed to find out about the only thing that hasn't changed in the plans for that area so far

News Avatar Experience coming to Disneyland Resort

All totally fair points and I agree. Keeping this vague, someone I'm close to works for the city and my understanding of those conversations is none of them were legally binding, but its obviously in Disney's best interest to keep the city in their good graces given everything that went down...

News Avatar Experience coming to Disneyland Resort

I was mostly being facetious with that remark but if we're discussing semantics, they absolutely did not commit a majority of the $1.9B to "actual attractions" Here's the quote directly from their site "The DisneylandForward development agreement, requires Disney to invest a minimum of $1.9...
