New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Also, Disney can't "Run out" of DAS for the day.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

Only up to 21 days in advance though which I think is the longest out anyone can actually buy it (7 day advance reservation+14 day park ticket)

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

They don't want/need the "average" American family. They want the top ~25% of the country to come.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I mean you can fit ROTR, the MK carousel, Cosmic Rays, Auntie Gravities, Star Traders, and the shell of Stich's great escape into the land without touching the bone yard, Resturantasaurus, Dinosaur, the theater in the wild, or the boat launch area. Then this area would be as packed as a...

I think they only want 1 tier 1 ride down at a time. Pan>Jungle Cruise> Big Thunder> Space

Party Day! (Always go to MK on a party day!)

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

Then can give all of the previous DAS spots to LLPA and we would be in the same place we were in June... Not saying this is ethical, but in theory we know the park can run with 4x the people in the LL for HM.

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

If anything this will make the standby lines move slower. This is in addition to LLMP

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

So... the switch from G+ to LLMP can't have affected the average number too much. We lost capacity in M&Gs and parades, but gained Tiana's (when it works). So, it still has to be around ~3.5 total. So if they were to add this LLPA, that 3.5 number would either need to drop, or the LL to Standby...

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

Sorry to further nitpick, but just curious. 3.5 RIDES or 3.5 ATTRACTIONS? Thank you for all you do btw!

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

Wow, I'm kinda shocked. I know some people were getting 10+ LLs, but I'm shocked there were enough people getting 1-2 to offset them enough. I kind of figured 3-4 was the average, but had no data to back that up.

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

I can't tell if this is a joke because LLMP wasn't around or if you are lumping LLMP and G+ together

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

I'm shocked the average LLMP user is under 3 per day, but I guess it is possible. I still think it is technically possible for disney to make a profit and have Standby lines not affected.

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

I think there would be 2 goals of this new system. 1) Increase profits 2) Keep LL use approximately equal to what it currently is The way to do this is to give out less LL slots to the LLMP users (which will be taken by the LLPA users), but also price LLPA higher than their capacity use. For...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

A VIP tour is still a valuable Luxury item and is more than just to pound rides. The VIP tour guide will literally guide you through the park (not as valuable to those on this forum, but many people go in basically blind), drive you park to park backstage, get your Starbucks, provide snacks...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

I talked about it a little bit for DLR here: This is the first time I've heard that it might be coming to WDW as well. I would assume for WDW there will be 10 options: LL premier access (each park priced differently+ 1 park hopper option). Skip all LLMP rides once per day at any time LL...

    Price hike coming 10/9

Yeah, I think the biggest things were King bed, walk to DS, bigger room. No idea if this will outweigh the disney theming of all stars. Again, very fortunate that I know I will be back to Disney soon, so testing out and finding the right hotel for my family is worth the test!
