The digital projectors gave IDF a new lease on life and looks great. ROC could look better if they updated to digital. They’ll have to figure out something eventually, I can’t imagine it’s getting great GSAT scores right now.

Totally get that, but they haven’t even really been used for that either. Putting them on the directional signs around the park would have been cool but they didn’t. Not on maps either.

When’s the current version from? 2008? How much longer can it go without an update?

Can’t tell if WDI has lost their expertise in place making or the uppers don’t want it. The new shop is nice but like everything lately is missing a trip to an antique market for props to root it in a story or place in time. If they toned the green down a shade and found a period chandelier to...

It is not bringing in any sort of crowds at all, that corner of the park along with animation courtyard is not pulling their weight at the moment.

Who determines what their lifespan is?

Yah I can see that. It’s not terrible it just doesn’t really match the rest of the resort now. What really needs updated is the GF Cafe, it’s showing it’s age. Also makes me wonder the fate of the tea room and the old BBB location and if they will ever return now. So odd they decided to stop now...

How… cryptic … hmmm. The only resort public area that looks more dated/in worse shape right now that I can think of is the Grand Canyon Concourse. Maybe this will give them time to correct any Marriott inspired designs they had planned though.

A lot of resort work has been outsourced lately and it shows ver badly, this one not so much, but still feels like it’s lacking weight and depth. What’s the story they’re trying to tell here?

I disagree, I’d consider this an upgrade to the previous look of this particular shop. They also added color, the previous design was all beige walls and ceiling.
