D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event—Coming to Anaheim Next August

And how the lines are thicker at the bottom and get thinner as they go up, mirroring the Horizons logo. No one should get excited anyways. We know how these always go.

News Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

I keep wondering what they'd do to it. The current script is pretty good and very clean compared to previous versions but they'd have to change it enough to re-market it so there's some concerns there. Obviously a new ending would happen but the rest of the show...?

News Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

Still waiting on the four Epcot loops but I doubt those will see a release. I'll miss the original but overall it's great. The AA's look incredible. Obviously they got rebuilt but I wonder if they got the electric servo upgrade I was told.

News Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

Beyond tired of "You Got a Friend in Me" but most of it's fine enough. It's starting to get to me like "Let It Go" did years ago.

News Jungle Cruise closing for refurbishment in late August

Regular people were saying that. The trusted ones were not.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I won't disagree but it's like they didn't think about how most of this area would work in general. To name some fun other issues: - Brown rusted panels that can stain clothes - Loose tables and chairs that needs CMs to check in on regularly - A PhotoPass (or general CM) by the Walt statue at...

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

They barely worked on debut night and only got worse. Basic color cycling was all they could do. Honestly without a fountain, during the day it feels really bad. I've started calling it a budget cut community college campus at this point.

News 2024 Fourth of July Fireworks, Extended Hours, and Entertainment

So even though the Luminous barges were equipped with more pyro tonight, they can't carry the weight of the ww3 barges. Not surprised and appreciate the try at something different. Though, pretty bad move in the end due to no wind. Guess it goes back to square one. Epcot shows should be...

News EPCOT's Harmonious to be replaced with new nighttime spectacular Luminous

Unless something happens, there won't be an official one. Just like with CommunicoreWhateverItsCalled. I will say I like how you kept it simple. People have tried but gone too detailed with their own versions. It probably needs a gradient or something to complete the look.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I wouldn't expect a fountain but to make the balloons move again would go a good distance to help it out.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

Land needs some color tossed in to make it feel not so boring. Maybe more nature-ish and less sterile? Not sure but it needs something even though the pavilion is still doing so well. The Seas literally needs just paint right now and it'll be miles better. While Nemo isn't great, it's a solid...

News Space Mountain and Disneyland Railroad closing for refurbishment in early August 2024

That's my hope. I'm bummed SM is closed for a first DL trip but if HM is opened, it'll be a decent make up. Regardless, there's quite a bit closed and even if it is "slow" they probably want to have some kind of extra capacity available.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

BlogMickeys pictures are usually saturated so I'd say that's the case. (Nothing against them because it's the easiest way to show these kinds of upgrades) After the initial round of lighting upgrades that looked extremely blue in pictures, most people said it looked great in person.

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

Problem is the load area is on the opposite side of the pavilion, not the Norway side. It would require a hefty reconfiguration of the interior of the pavilion to even make it work well. You'd still have queue crossing with guests walking to dinner anyways most likely. Three cabs would've had a...

    News Morocco Pavilion redevelopment

I'll guess and say the darker paint was on purpose because things in Florida fade. Give it a year and it'll look fine.

News EPCOT's Harmonious to be replaced with new nighttime spectacular Luminous

Just imagine the Luminous barges with the RoE score. The fountains and lights would definitely fill the parts most guests found boring. If only there was a globe in the middle then it would've been the perfect upgrade.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Add to the fact that SSE is bound to be a nightmare to work on and within. It's a unique building with extremely limited access. SSE having a higher budget makes sense. Just remember how long it would take to remove each ride vehicle (or just enough to allow them to access the problematic track...

News EPCOT's Harmonious to be replaced with new nighttime spectacular Luminous

If I had to guess, they're loading the center barge up (not the tower piece, the area around it) with pyro now since most of the new stuff seems to launching from it. Maybe they feel pretty good about how it's functioning to add the full pyro load to it now.

News Test Track to be reimagined

I'd toss this pavilion in with the good refurbs. Regular refreshes while keeping a bit of the same theme but making it new all again. I liked the props of 1 and the debut of the ride system. I briefly liked the Tron-ness of 2 until it sunk it there wasn't much to look at but the soundtrack was...
