American Adventure. It is a mechanical wonder, and a great piece of patriotic history. Sad that so many guests don't even know it's there.

This is the first time I've noticed this, but is that one of the massive trees depicted on the horizon just above and to the left of "dad's" head? That would have to go to the north side of the FoP and boat ride show building.

Love the idea of a huge Mickey attraction being at the center of a remake of the park with no theme. One of the few lasting memories I have of my first trip was riding the GMR because it is a great and memorable attraction. It is however in need of a complete makeover. I'd love to see them...

I'm sure they did small scale testing, but probably nothing on the scale of the real thing.

The video of the floats showed a few of them with damage from running into things. My guess would be that the guidance system is unable to keep the floats on the right path. They wouldn't have had the chance to truly test that system until it hit the lake. They also showed one of the testers...

I found that I get many of the same discounts with my AP, and if I'm vacationing at WDW I have to buy an AP to make it worth going to the parks anyway. Now the AP discount they gave us a couple years ago was nice, but I don't see that happening again anytime soon.
