“President Roosevelt” takes up less space on a banner than “Former President Roosevelt.”
Or the Bull Moose took the west when Roosevelt lost his bid. Whichever you prefer.
During SAVII they all laughed when I included President William McKinley in my Discovery Bay presentation.
When I visited DisneySEA a few weeks ago I was finally vindicated.
Look who’s laughing now!
Hey, guys. I just finished a pretty amazing trip to Tokyo Disney. My mom is visiting from the US so we went all out this time and were able to get a room at the Hotel Mira Costa. It really does blow every other Disney hotel out of the water for a fraction of what it would cost in the US...
I feel so seen.
Also, just so you know because I really appreciate you doing it, as of this past Sunday the time difference is 13 hours rather than 14. Japan does not have Daylight Savings Time so the time difference changes with it.
Probably Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It has an amazing lineup of coasters and some really interesting theming for a non-Disney/ Universal park. While I'm sad that its lost some of its most interesting attractions (Darkastle and Corkscrew Hill) it's still hung on to a lot of its weird budget charm.
It makes sense if you really squint. The first half of both Journey to the Center of the Earth and 20k are basically just guests watching exotic (and fictional) animals.
I really disagree with the idea, though. If you’re going to bring it over 1:1 there isn’t really a place in the park...
