I completely agree. I found myself engrossed in the theming and effort behind it. It seems as if it was more of a test for this tech (maybe for the castle in Shanghai?) and honestly I do it every time I'm there just because I find it so fascinating. And the same can be said about little mermaid...

Yes it is from the patent I believe. It's a surprisingly detailed drawing, we don't always see that in patents. Really helps you appreciate the figure more when you see it in action. A very clever and realistic design.

The animatronic which sits on top of the fireplace in enchanted tales with belle. Fantastically realistic, the experience itself is a lack luster meet and greet but the AA makes it worth a trip IMO.

It just seems like there's more facade coming down than is in your rendering. Haven't they already taken down the New York backdrop? And most of the stuff between the New York street and muppetvision? I'm guessing they're opening it up to allow for better crowd flow into Star Wars land?

Well I'm going to have to disagree on frozen, I'm sure the other AAs in the ride didn't need to be as splendid as the focus of the opening and finale, but they are undeniably smooth. And if you need proof that Disney imgaineeeing is still innovative look no further than lumiere.

I do have one question for @marni1971 . Will "Muppet courtyard" include the pre-existing SOA? im just curious as to what the setting is in that area besides "muppets in new york"

Well im sure they will be too, but building an animatronic that can withstand hurricanes isn't easy. Which is why outside AAs USUALLY aren't very elaborate.

I just have a hard time imagining next gen AAs inside with jungle cruise AAs just a little ways outside...

Disney hasn't let me doesn't on AAs yet. Between NFL and FEA I think Disney will take it to the next level for avatar.

Although I have no numbers, and I'm sure they make up a large percentage of the attendance, I doubt they would really make a huge difference.

With Star Wars land I'm curious to see (if they keep star tours) what will happen to it. That is exterior wise. A set of endor wouldn't cut it with a fully themed land next door.
