    A Spirited 15 Rounds ...

Not sure I like the word "explosive" when referring to DIS news regarding the domestic parks.

    A Spirited 15 Rounds ...

Just back from a short vacation in California (no theme parks...just grandbaby, stepson and mountain drives). I appreciate the efforts by all to stay on topic so I don't come back to forty pages of pizza or cheesesteak arguments. I will also appreciate a Spirited blog in the future. While it...

Choza de Margarita Coming to Epcot's Mexico Pavilion

Do you think "hand crafted" actually means not pre-made in plastic bottle?

    A Spirited 15 Rounds ...

Great to see you posting again @WDW1974 . I found your order of how Americans should visit Disney Parks to be very interesting. It was my plan, originally to visit Tokyo first. Now that you suggest it, Paris would be a good first foray into the foreign parks in that it would be less...

    Sum of All Thrills Returning?

If they expanded the attraction, this would be a great help. The lines were long very soon after opening but I always plan to do this within the first hour. It is so fun and adds humor to our grownup trips as we choose a name and create a ride. Love it.

    Remembering Marty Sklar

Thank you Marty from the bottom of my theme loving heart. Rest In Peace.

    A Spirited Valentine ...

The photo of Fire and Ice at the entrance to the DD queue is one of my favorites from IOA from way back when. My picture has a couple of my kids in it however. I wonder, were they completely destroyed?

New Harry Potter Coaster Confirmed for 2019 (Dragon's Challenge Closing Sept 4th)

I go to Orlando for 15-16 days, every four years. My next trip is October 2018 for Pandora and HHN. During our trip many attractions will have been closed forever and probably some for re-furb. While I welcome this news, Hubby loves roller coasters and we were going to skip Busch Gardens this...

New Harry Potter Coaster Confirmed for 2019 (Dragon's Challenge Closing Sept 4th)

Just read about this and it is definitely short on detail. I am happy with this announcement but disappointed that yet another attraction will be closed when I go back to Orlando in 2018.

Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

Just skimmed this thread. Frankly, it was the most disappointing announcement to me. I just cannot wrap my head around a trackless ride based on a toddler cartoon series I have never seen and will never see created by a television (small screen) animation studio. When I think physical sets...

What do you think of the EPCOT Central Spine redesign?

This idea is really beginning to grow on me. Even with the limited, likely changes such as removing the tombstones, adding greenspaces and pathways, water features etc. These small, aesthetic changes will differentiate Epcot from MK's stone and Astroturf aesthetic with it's bench free...

Disney Quest to close in July 2017

Not an NBA Fan, not a fan of Disney Quest. I really wish they would have turned this space into something a majority of WDW visitors might enjoy but I really don't know what that would be.

What do you think of the EPCOT Central Spine redesign?

It does seem to indicate a larger amount of smaller vendor locations, more greenspace and water features, and a lack of ginormous retail opportunities. This may, or may not be a bad thing. I like MouseGear but if the same merchandise is available in a new venue, does it matter? The store has...

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I always try to think about logical Capex when it comes to these projects and getting attractions up and running before asthetics makes some sense. The "blue sky" does give me some hope of at least cohesive visuals if not cohesiveness of attraction placement. Rat would be a great ride...for...

    Mission:Space update (confirmed)

Well, I was hoping Orange would get a new mission as well. I have never ridden Green. DH really loves this attraction. I find it still more appropriately themed to vision than many, many others. I guess I will try Green to see what it's like but I may be a little bored by it. The restaurant...

    News D23 Expo 2017

BwaaaaHaaaHaaaa.... (evil laugh as I propose an additional trip to WDW to DH who only wants to go every four years). I'll just show him photos of Star Wars Land and I win!

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

And so it begins...I've been following along since the beginning of this thread so no shock or surprise. I will continue to follow what happens next. Based on WDW's usual timelines, This will just be one more closed attraction in the park soon to be formerly known as DHS when I go next year...

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I really loved the old Test Track. It didn't need to be turned into a video game.

Pirates of the Caribbean Auctioneer/Redhead Changes NO POLITICS or SOCIAL ISSUES, PLEASE!

Hmmm....carefully treading into this forum and here are my thoughts as a member of the female section of the human race. Disney has discarded the moral message of the original Pirates ride by inserting Jack into the mix. They are now following the movies (read IP) more closely than than their...

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

Discussion of the future of the Imagination Pavilion intrigue me. I did experience the original, did not have to suffer through the Eisner re-do, and have seen it recently. There is nothing about "imaginative" about Bing Bong...he is a child's creation. Our imagination doesn't die when we are...
