So I went to Magic Kingdom today and rode TBA. (More on that soon in the Tiana thread.) Rode Small World, among others. Being of Scottish blood, I just wanted to snap a photo of the ride’s epic, spectacular, no-expense-spared tribute to the land of my ancestors:

My opinion is that more and more people are reaching the conclusion that a day at a Disney Park—the way they’re currently being run—just isn’t worth the cost. Stinking the places up with greedy upcharges, virtual queues and underwhelming new offerings doesn’t help. Also: Maleficent on a stick.

Personally, I think MMRR never was an E-ticket. I think it’s a one-and-done mediocre ride that substitutes projected cartoons for anything exciting or involving. Maybe others feel the same.

The album, “Music From Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” is available on digital music stores. It’s a fun listen, but predictably (and unfortunately for theme park music fans), it’s aimed at the GP and consists of “Special Spice,” non-soundtrack covers of “When We’re Human,” Down in New Orleans” and...

This beats any dinosaur ride in the U.S. I wouldn’t mind losing River Adventure in FL to get this. A lot of rides beat DAK’s Dinosaur. I’m gonna miss it for its high cheese factor and hilarious finale, but I don’t think a lot of folks are gonna be terribly sad to see it get rethemed.

Can they redo the ride so that Louis sets out to devour all the generic critters and save his IP? The finale would be a huge barbecue.
