I don't think they are considering any nod to the original Poly at all...they clearly did just about everything they could to make it NOT feel part of the resort everyone loves....Which is the most baffling thing. and the Poly is generally more expensive than the other MK resorts.....

ESPN was always an odd choice for the Boardwalk... Cake Bake Shop looks nice and pretty but also does not fit the theme of the 1940s Jersey Shore Boardwalk... it does fit more with the Grand Floridian Resort....or Disney Springs..... I am sure there will be crowds for at least a year or two...

I think that is what TDO believes, but I think there are a lot of guests...maybe even a majority that actually do care....and when it is done the right way and makes sense, it just feels better...Maybe it is not something that people will be able to pinpoint, but they will feel the difference...

The splash pad... I don't think they really count as a water feature, but sure there is water....and it's a lot of fiberglass cartoony character... I would have preferred something that looked more natural and more exotic... waterfalls....a lazy river... something better than a fiberglass...

With the bland usualness of the architecture, I am hoping they at least do an amazing feature pool and grounds amentities to make this something special instead of a literal Hampton Inn Wilderness Motel... The Reflections renderings look like every new condo building being currently built...
