    Harbour House or Diamond Horseshoe

Harbor House is a lot better then Golden Horseshoe, when it's open. I found the food at GH, disappointing. Which I never knew was an emotion I could feel at a Disney restaurant. I ordered a turkey sandwich, and it was just a piece of dry turkey on a dry roll. There was no cheese, lettuce...

    What night is formal night?

Disney doesn't do a formal night on the shorter (3 and 4 night) cruises. They have a semi-formal night. The dress code for those is just a jacket for men and a dress or pantsuit for women. They call it optional formal night, not sure if it is actually optional, or if it is just a name they give...

Airlines...best and worst in getting you to WDW

Southwest has always been one of the best in the industry in my opinion. AirTran is fantastic as well, and has great deals right now because of their purchase by Southwest. If we can't get on either of those two, we go on JetBlue. Allegiant is a good airline to, but the fees for everything can...

Value Resorts vs. Moderate Resorts: Deciding which one

I don't know, when we were at All Star Sports they didn't have towels at the pool. You had to bring them from your room. If you forgot them, like we did, you could pick up some at the front desk, and just leave them in your room.

Value Resorts vs. Moderate Resorts: Deciding which one

At the pools, you don't get towels, so make sure you bring the ones from your room. The rooms at value resorts also seem a little smaller to me. But, if you can get a good deal on it, and really are just looking for a place to eat, sleep, and swim, and can give up a few luxuries, value resorts...

    Watching cruise line special...

Enchantment of the Seas is a FANTASTIC ship if you can't afford DCL. As for destinations, Cozumel is the best by far. If anyone is ever in Cozumel, you have to go Mr.Sancho's Beach Club. the food is fantastic, and you can spend an entire day there and never get bored. http://www.mrsanchos.com

    where to stay??

The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is a great hotel, and is running great rates right now (about $80 USD a night). If your just looking for a place to sleep, you can get the Avanti or Comfort Inn for about $50 USD.

    AP Renewal

My daughter and her friends are going to the parks, and I'm not going, but they need to renew their passes. Do you need an adult with you to renew your pass, or just your ID and the barcode from the online renewal?

    Is Anyone a DVC Member?

The key to saving money with DVC is to be careful about where you make your home resort, of course it depends on what is available. For example, my home is Boardwalk, which is one of the more expensive homes as far as fees goes because the DVC fees go toward maintaining the everything on the...

    Outside restaurant for viewing Wishes

If you are going to just go sit on the beech for the show, and can go a little out of your way, I highly recommend Turf Club at Saratoga Springs.

Is the Food & Wine event an obstruction at Epcot?

I go almost ever year, and I don't see that much of a change in the size of the lines. It does become very tight in World Showcase, mostly from Mexico to China, and them from International Gateway to Canada, just because thats where everyone starts.

    Outside restaurant for viewing Wishes

You can see the fireworks from Ohana's at the Poly, they have really good food, and, it's family style. Not sure if they pump in them music like at CG, and there is a fairly good chance you won't be able to see the fireworks from the table they give you. If you request one with that view, you...

I would say March or May is better than April. But, what ever you do, book early, so you can get a good deal.

can i pull off a surprise split stay?

Yeah, it is possible, I know some friends who stayed at POFQ and then moved to Swan before a cruise, didn't do it as a surprise though. You probably will have to move the luggage yourself, unless you can work something out with Disney.

From Port Orleans to Another Place for Dinner

Also, if you want to go to Fulton's, go for lunch, not dinner, the menus are very similar except it is cheeper at lunch time.
