Hey guys, I go through all these photos threads, and am SHOCKED at some of the picture quality. Some of it is just incredible. I have a Canon SD630, and it's nice and takes good pics, but no where near the quality of some of these photos--especially at night. So what kind of cameras...

Pirate tutorial? Is that a Jack Sparrow show? I don't want to meet or get an autograph, I just think it'd be fun to watch someone channel/impersonate Jack Sparrow, which is why I asked if there was still a Jack Sparrow show still being performed outside the POTC?

Exactly when can we see Jack Sparrow outside of the POTC? Is it just at random that he comes out, or is it at specific times and days?

What cameras are people using? Compact cameras? SLR's? Some of these pictures look VERY crisp and clear.

I have it, but don't have it uploaded to a site or comp.

What could they do to make the sets more exciting? I think they are very well themed.

Hey everyone, One more question...is it possible to check into the Poly late at night? We probably won't be able to get there until 11 PM or 12 AM...would we be able to check-in at that time?

Thanks a lot for your help, everyone. I have a question. It seems like the Poly has a lot of...parts to it that, I suppose, are the different areas that you stay in. What are the areas that you'd recommend to stay in at the Poly? What are the areas to avoid or that aren't ideal?

Sorry, I forgot that info. Just two adults going--no kids. And we are going around the 2nd week of December? Would it get pretty chilly at the Poly, with that wind blowing off the water? Is transportation via bus really bad/a hastle to and from the AKL?

We are deciding between these two. What does everyone feel is better? Is transportation by bus truly a hassel with the AKL? I have read that the Poly is close to the monorail, boat, etc. But just curious about opinions. Thanks.

Thanks a lot for your response. What I'm curious about is this, also. How is the transportation to and from the AKL? For our trip, we probably won't rent a car. Are the buses slow, making lots of stops? I know that, for example, the Polynesian is fairly close to the monorail and boats...
