Thanks! I was curious because I plan to book a room for myself and a few friends, but given we'd be booking for next August, there's a chance one of us might have to drop out while the others want to keep the booking.

So before 90-days, if someone can no longer come it's either $350 to remove them from the reservatino or we have to cancel/rebook?

I wonder what happens with blackout dates. My sister's renewal got processed as a renewal certificate last month. We have a trip planned for Thanksgiving week, which is a blackout time for the new equivalent to the DVC Gold pass.

Between the names for this and Genie, I feel likey they are supposed to confuse and distract you from the changes and upcharges 😂

Totally agree. We liked to sleep in, or have a leisurely breakfast, and then stroll into a park to do our three FPs. I feel like with the current systems we have to rope drop to be able to do the top tier rides, unless we pay the extra fee. I really don't like the reduced perks for resort guests.

Totally agree. I rode the Ratatouille ride in DLP right before the pandemic and was underwhelmed (and I'm a big Ratatouille fan). It felt dated. And that was before I rode Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway! I think it's going to feel even more dated in comparison. I was more excited about...

What I meant is that previously FastPass was included in the ticket price for all rides. So now you can argue that the tickets are just essentially $15 more expensive, except that it doesn't include "FastPass" for all rides.

It would just be a $15/day increase if it included all the rides in the park. But even if you pay the $15, you have to pay additional money for the two rides per park that are essentially sold separately.

Totally agree. There is very little incentive to stay on-site right now. The 30 minute early Entry is barely anything compared to Extra Magic Hours, and it's worthless if you don't like rope dropping. The Evening Hours is only for Deluxe and hard to use if you have young kids or like to be...

Watching this closely... my parents are going down for a wedding in Orlando. They were planning Universal on Thursday and the wedding is on Friday. Feel bad for the bride and groom, they must be going crazy!

I think it would be cool if they redesigned the ride to show how classic movies inspired current ones. That would be a way to keep classic movies while keeping younger people engaged with the newer ones. And perhaps building appreciation for the classics, which the current ride fails to do.
