I've done trips with groups ranging from 2 people to 17 people. I think the break even point is right around 8 people for keeping it together as 1 big group. Any larger it gets to be too much trying to plan to keep the entire group together the entire day. Biggest thing to be is flexible...

POFQ. The jolt of going from a Deluxe to POFQ won't be as jarring. Quiet and well kept. Less in your face than POP. Bus and water taxi service at POFQ is best on property

We visited POFQ in mid-late October last year. Resort felt like it was half full. Never a line at the front desk, always room at the bar. Pools are great, albeit small. Met some great people from the St. Louis area that we sat around with for a few hours after bar close. Great, homey...

Pros: Bright, tropical theming. Can see Epcot from a number of locations. Central to rest of the world. Good pool. Cons: Needs some refinement in terms of bus service. Massive layout. Best building (s): Martinique. We traveled with a large group when we stayed at CBR (our only time)...

Better food with cheaper prices at Tangerine Café. I have to think Restaurant Marrakesh is going to get phased/reimagined out once Spice Road Table opens...better use of space there.

I have to think a couple rounds with Robin Hood, Little John, and Friar Tuck would be pretty fantastic. Captain Jack and Mr. Gibbs get an honorable mention.

Building 3. Top Floor. We were there for 8 nights and the only noise we heard were the mid-afternoon lawn mowing.

POFQ is a no brainer when comparing to the rest of the moderates. Only drawback is the limited amenties. That being said, the superior bus services, boat transfers to Downtown Disney, and ease of navigation through the resort trumps all the negatives.

Teppan Edo is very underrated, especially at lunchtime. Worth a visit. Plus it's dinner/lunch with a show.

@Lucky is right. We only encountered 1 time while staying at POFQ where we actually stopped at Riverside as well. We were still picked up first at POFQ and then made the 4 stops at Riverside. I'm pretty sure it was a Wednesday morning bus heading to HS. Even after 5 pickups, the bus was...
