Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

In addition to the ride attractions there will also be a Dr. Strange stage show. Upon the opening of the land there will be the Spider-Man shooter and Dr. Strange show. Is the Avengers coaster confirmed or still a rumor?

Pandora: World of Avatar attractions incident 3/29

If I was there I would hang out in Pandora near the entrance to FoP. I feel waiting for FoP to get back online would be shorter than the actual line for the ride.

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

Ant-Man and the Wasp is likely a result of a strict budget on a re-skin of Buzz Lightyear. This unfortunately was not supposed to be a headliner to turn the park around and is likely a placeholder to generate a little "fresh" excitement while we await the 2020, 2021 and 2023 major updates. This...

HKDL gets new castle, frozen land and marvel land.

I think expectations were tempered in regards to AM&W as it's known it's a re-skin of BLAB. It's just something to help temporarily boost excitement while they construct the more exciting expansion pieces. It does serve to help provide a unifying theme for that particular area. Tomorrowland in...

HKDL gets new castle, frozen land and marvel land.

I am personally way more excited for Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea myself and the budget allocated to it is incredible. However, there's a difference between a blender of three different IPs vs. a land focused on one IP. It's kind of like if they decided to split the expansion pad between...

HKDL gets new castle, frozen land and marvel land.

The rides of Arendelle will be a big deal, but an even bigger deal is that they will have an exclusive Arendelle land, which would be something unique to it outside of potentially Disneyland Paris (which serves as different a market as possible). It's something the U.S. parks can't boast of and...

HKDL gets new castle, frozen land and marvel land.

That is a concern of mine as well, which is why I am heavily hoping for the success of HK Disney. A second gate could be tremendous for HK Disney if done right and could give it something unique that would call out to tourists to visit. Plus it would be a huge boon to hotel attendance if HK...

    New President SHDL?

Looks like Joe Schott was previously Vice President and Executive Managing Director for Tokyo Disney.

News Disney and Fox come to terms -- announcement soon; huge IP acquisition

There is always a possibility that Deadpool can see the Big Hero 6 treatment and be a Marvel property in its own contained universe. That may be for the best as running it through the Disney/MCU filter could lead to backlash and subsequent box office failure. Of course there's the conundrum of...

    Tokyo Disneyland Resort Expansion

I really hope that Frozen 2 would be incorporated into the Parks with Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo all getting Frozen-themed expansions... or at least one of them. I also hope they aren't all just going to copy Frozen Ever After to save costs. The description given for Tokyo DisneySea's expansion...

    HKDL Impressions

Found this video that mentions that Hong Kong Disneyland was built with plans to expand to a 2nd gate among other ambitious plans (explains why there is so much empty space at the front of the actual park itself). It's apparent at this point that those plans have been shelved indefinitely unless...

News New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

I do like the concept another person posted earlier of Cranium Command being transformed into an Inside Out attraction. It would have been a relatively cheap way to get another attraction to handle capacity. :cautious:

News New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

It's more than just character meet and greets. Time will tell whether this interactive city will be of good quality but there's potential for something engaging here.

News New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

I am a bit torn. On the positive side it's good that they are making use of space and more things to do at the park is always a good thing. Plus it's good to have a space for younger audiences. It's to be seen whether this can be a permanent attraction or just a temporary one until they are...

    FOP 6+ hour wait times

Sorry if my reply sounded like it didn't agree with you. I do agree that waiting is worth it for something that you must do. That's why lines like this generate in the first place. For some people it really does mean waiting 6 hours or not riding at all ever and for them that once-in-a-lifetime...

    FOP 6+ hour wait times

That would be terrible if you make a once in a lifetime trip and you don't have that time luxury... Even 3 hours is pretty terrible but at least you get a chance to do a few other things at the park. 6 hours would nearly guarantee that it would be one of the only 2-3 things do that day. Imagine...

Might be traveling for first time on June/July any recommendations??

Not quite sure yet. My planned trip won't for a few years as I already have a Disneyland trip planned for this year and 2020 may be an off-year. 2021 would be the earliest I would go.

    HKDL Impressions

Without a doubt that HKDL will have trouble ever matching SDL in terms of size and scope purely because of lack of land in HKDL. That's not including the fact that Shanghai had the advantage of both a larger budget upon opening and being created more recently, and therefore allowed them better...

Might be traveling for first time on June/July any recommendations??

What would be the best time to visit during the June - August for crowd purposes? With school-age children alas I will have to join the summer vacation club but would mid-late June see less crowds since apparently kids in France don't see summer vacation until July?

    HKDL Impressions

I attended Hong Kong Disneyland last September. As posters have already mentioned it's a small park and due to the relatively small number of people even on a holiday (apparently unbeknownst to me I went during a Chinese holiday) you can easily do the whole park in less than a day. That said...
