Disney Board: "Alright, we haven't found a new CEO, but we have found this stretcher to wheel Bob out on, because he's not stepping down until he's cold."

    News Disney Jollywood Nights 2024

What exactly about Mickey's outfit here screams "holiday finest"? It looks like the cast member outfits for MISI, not holiday oriented at all.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

It's almost certainly not about staff or pricing - I'm sure Express will get added eventually as a benefit for Helios eventually. But for the first new major theme park in Orlando in 25+ years, I'm willing to bet Universal isn't going to have Express at all for the first few years of operation...

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I politely disagree - I think Villains Land in MK is the best call as a “dark mirror to Fantasyland” sort of angle, plus while I agree HS needs capacity, they are getting some with Monstropolis, and MK is still the much more highly visited park and also needs more capacity. Plus, this keeps HS...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

Nope! It's the multimillion dollar Epcot overhaul that turned the park into a construction zone for 5+ years. Impressed? Disney knew you would be!

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

They'd better be for the price...wands ain't cheap, but they're not Savi's lightsabers expensive. And at least you can play with the wands in the park.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

Speaking as someone who loves Disney, I really can't wait for Universal to come and take Disney's lunch money with this park. It looks like it's gonna have the spark of inspiration (and an actual budget) that has been missing from Disney and its projects for far too long.

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

I have actively withheld judgment on this ride until it came out because any criticism beforehand, besides unproductive, would frequently be lumped in with bad-faith actors who wanted the ride to fail for personal/political beliefs. Now that it's actually out and I have watched the Disney...

News Disney Villains After Hours coming to the Magic Kingdom

On the one hand, I love that the Villains are getting some love. On the other hand, $140 and they're not even doing M&Gs? I'll pass.

News New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

That's my reading of it but based on: I'd guess there may be something else in the works? @Magic Feather do you know of anything else that may be in play?

Rumor Stitch's Great Escape Replacement— Don’t Hold Your Breath

I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment. My connection with this ride is similar to your's from a sentimental standpoint, but different. I wasn't at MK for the official opening (and the infamous TP castle), but I was in WDW in November 2004 around the time that it opened. It's one of the...

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

If we're going by the chart from a few pages back, the smallest AT-AT is 22.5 meters tall, which is roughly 75 feet. The ones being built could be to scale without having to install the blinking light (which would only be required if it hit 200 feet.)
