I suspect you are very right about someone messing around to get air time. I wonder if it is a seat bottom sensor or a seat belt tension sensor, or both? You have a good idea that there is a seat bottom sensor.

most savanah rooms are good rooms... You want to be along Zebra or Kudu trails, facing the Arush Rock Savannah. We stayed in Concierge level along Kudu, 5th floor, and it was amazing. 3rd and 4th floors would be great too, but they aren't concierge. Check out this map...
