Hey everyone. If you were president of Disney World for one day, what would you do?

just to clarify why AP's still use AP lines when they are longer.. I have seen longer AP lines go much quicker than regular lines, so often AP's jump into the line hoping the people in front of them know which finger/how to do it better than avg joe.. Sometimes it doesn't work out(new AP member...

Hey everyone. If you were president of Disney World for one day, what would you do?

Release a number of paper FP's in the park for those who come day of and do not have any FP's associated with their ticket already.. #1 complaint from people who have never been and go while in Florida on a vacation I hear is.. "We didn't know you had to plan your whole day weeks or months in...

    Whispering Canyon Change

Family was there 2 weeks ago and they still had my dad(who was celebrating his birthday) sing the birthday song to himself for the whole restaurant to hear.. so I am not sure this is true..

    Crowd Predictions After SWGE Opening

Studios will be NYE MK levels for the foreseeable future.. I will do my absolute best to get down there for my AP preview if they do it.. I couldn't make the Avatar preview and regretted that for months due to crowds.. this will be much much worse

Rivers of Light >> Illuminations I know it is unpopular but that's what this thread is about..

    Disney not being very helpful

When I was there this week I was told by another AP that they could give you your MB in the park it just wouldn't be personalized.. so carry the card and go to GS once inside the park to get a MB? Problem solved.. Just relaying the info I was told..

    PARK VIRGIN!

No sarcasm.. except the being pen'd in for hours, the crowd on NYE at WDW and DL are worse in terms of getting out(since 100+k with 1 exit and 1 monorail/ferry loop) it has taken us over 3 hours to get to my parents house after NYE before.. a trip that normally is less than 30 minutes from park...

    Pandoran problems 4.25.18

I saw someone say you get another FP to use whenever you want. I have gotten those before but nearly every time, they have exclusions like Frozen, Pandora, Seven Dwarves. Only one time have I ever gotten the real, USE THIS ANY TIME ANY PLACE and it was the last day of our trip at the end of the...

    Pandoran problems 4.25.18

I will say I also remember the pre-FP days, as long as you went in the non-summer back then, you could legit ride rides without getting off.. My family went and stayed on the resort loop every early december and it was glorious. I remember my parents took a picture of the whole family lined up...

Need help with itinerary - first time visitor to WDW

Having that flexibility is nice, but I am not sure OP was asking for reasons why Park Hoppers are nice. I know plenty of people who buy single parks and if a ride is down they just go back to hotel early etc..

Need help with itinerary - first time visitor to WDW

I would assume the 5 day OP is talking about is 225$ though since thats the current rate through my work..

Need help with itinerary - first time visitor to WDW

I am sorry to hear about your/and ultimately his support loss, and think your idea to get him out of the house and experience it is exactly what would warrant a super busy schedule then

Need help with itinerary - first time visitor to WDW

This seems like a VERY enthusiastic schedule.. if you don't plan on using a park hopper, there is no reason to pay for it. I enjoy park hoppers because I can leave a park and go back to the hotel and relax or eat dinner and then go to a different park each night. With how crowded your schedule...

Over hyped Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

I know I am probably wrong.. but the dreamer in me hopes they are making the parking entrance to the east so they can expand star wars land at some point or add a few more lands.. without that entrance drive there is a good amount of land to expand south with park

Limit to Taking Food & Drink into Parks?

OP.. you do you.. make sandwiches if you want, or just carry a few drinks in and small snacks, there are plenty of quiet places throughout the parks to enjoy your time(thinking the side alley on Main Street, the patio behind flame tree in AK, the seating behind fairfax fare in the studios, and...

How far do you live from WDW ?

I had to look what was possibly 9k miles from Disney.. and saw you either live in Madagascar, SE Asia... or Papua New Guinea.. soo I think you probably win the distance question

How far do you live from WDW ?

Currently I live 759 Miles away.. BUT my parents who I visit a handful of times every year are just under 1.5 miles from Magic Kingdom.. so even when I am "visiting family for the holidays" I am close enough to see the fireworks every night.. and it is GLORIOUS

    Is Disney Expensive?

As an AP in Cincinnati, I make it down 3 or 4 times a year.. I still have my Soccer Season tickets, but other than that I have decided my other entertainment dollars should walk down to the place my wife and I truly find our happy place in.. Not the Reds or Bengals anymore, and once every 2...

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

I had a friend tell me taxes can be optional because "you can choose to work or not to work, and if you don't get paid for work then you don't have to pay taxes"
