The festival did not start until January 13th. If you went on the 11th that would explain why nothing was open. I visited last week and everything was open on the weekdays.

Had a great lunch at the Brown Derby Lounge. I was able to walk up and get a table immediately. I had the Cobb Salad, Absinthe Minded Cocktail, and the Baked Alaska.

The Bacon and Vermont Cheddar Burger from the Ale & Compass Restaurant at the Yacht Club. The burger was great, cooked properly and the fries were the best I had the entire trip.
