Yeah if it goes to AC/launch bay like it’s supposed to it’ll serve as an actual expansion and get the park’s ride count into the double digits. If it goes into Muppets/Star Tours then it’s a no net gain and a likely capacity decrease even.

Yeah sorry but saying the villains of Disney’s animated film catalog don’t belong at the castle park that has significant ties to and is often viewed as the park for Walt Disney animation is actually an insane take.

In terms of intensity, the coaster in the concept art is giving me Hagrid’s vibes more than anything. Which would make it a family thrill coaster and I think that is the best fit for a villains land.

Yeah the original plan was a boat similar to the Coco attraction going to DCA but a few months back momentum had shifted to it being an omnimover type ride.

Since the concept art shows the coaster traveling through an under watcher section, I’m actually wondering if the coaster will be the ride that features all of the villains, and maybe the second ride is a dark ride that focuses on a single film. Like a beloved holiday classic from the year 1993...

By this point it would be a very bad look if they were to just scrap the land after making it the “one last thing” major reveal of the panel. Especially with it being presented as a clear answer/competition to Dark Universe. I’d be more concerned about them not actually following the concept art...

I gotta hand it to them for going full on spooky and very clearly making it an answer to Dark Universe, which is exactly what I wanted but wasn’t sure they’d do. Bravo!
