I had heard from an outside source that if enough people show up during PD weekend at Timekeeper and Carousel of Progress, the rides will be maintained. Is there any truth to this rumor? --MGM

Definitely. I went on this class trip in 8th grade in February of '99 and there were very few people at any of the parks. I got to walk down Main Street at a leisurely pace, breeze my way onto Test Track, and ride TOT 4 times without stopping (an experience I won't soon repeat....blecch....)...

Obviously the more major attractions would be very disappointing (i.e. Space Mountain, Spaceship Earth). I personally was really upset when they closed up Horizons, even though it was quite obviously out of date. It was still great for so many reasons and I think it could have been touched up...
