Anybody know if you have to have a very recent version of the app for boarding pass to work? I turned off auto updates for the WDW app to avoid any impact to checking for FP's so it's probably been about 6 months since it's been updated.

Please people that have already ridden let's not get into a discussion that includes much about the ride, there's a thread for that. Many of us are following this one so we can try and ride for the first time and have been trying to avoid as much about the ride itself as possible.

As someone looking to go on this soon like a lot of people, I'm hoping this thread remains spoiler free and is a place to talk about the opening rather than the actual ride itself, which there seems plenty of places to do.

Got an email saying that the SWGE band should have included the same discount as all the other bands and that would be reflected in the final price they charge when they ship. Wish they were a bit more exciting but wanted a SW one to remember this AP preview trip.
