Pixar Pier is a travesty on California Adventure for one reason alone:
That every Pixar attraction at the resort is not linked to it!
The simple solution is to build a dedicated tunnel system that will link every Pixar attraction to Pixar Pier. Some may think this is impossible, but as Walt Disney once said "Nothing is more imminent than the impossible". The rides will all be expanded to go underground with a new exit in Pixar Pier, for example Radiator Springs Racer would now have a tunnel that takes guests directly to Pixar Pier. The Disneyland Pixar rides would now require park hoppers.
You may wonder how Disney will pay for the building of such an extensive system.
Again Simple.
Every person who goes through the Entrance now has to sign a contract that requires them to dig underground for an hour, in exchange for permission to freely roam the four lands of Disneyland.
Sounds quite pragmatic to me.
