UK 14 Day Ultimate Pass lasting 16 days?

Ok, I think this is me just having another last minute paranoia, even though I'm pretty sure this will still be the same as our trip 2 years ago.

When you are using the 14 Day Ultimate Pass, in effect it really lasts for 16 days on a 14 night holiday doesn't it, as you can use it from when you check in (the afternoon prior to the first full day) until the day of check out (the morning before we leave for the airport - day 16)?

Just wanted to double check this as I don't want to find my Keys to the Kingdom Card won't let me in on the last day and a half - as I said last minute paranoia setting in!

Does this only apply when staying on site just out of curiousity? If you stay off-site is it only valid for the actual 14 full days? Last time we went, you could only actually purchase this sort of pass when you were staying on site, but now it's availbale to anyone I believe (correct me if I'm wrong!)

Hmmm, that's not good.
I know we definitely used it on our afternoon of arrival and our last full day - that would make 15.
We didn't use it on the final morning, but were planning to this time.

Did you stay on site?

When 14 means 15 !

We stayed at POFQ in August and the ticket lasted 15 Days ! We used it on check in day and check out day .:sohappy: I understand this only applies if you stay on site.

Heading for the great escape.
That is how it works. Never an issue for us as we go to Universal for the 1st three days.

The same applies to Universal so that why we tend to go for a meal a bit of shopping and some pool time on night no 1.

I've always assumed it would just be the 14 days validity. We go to Downtown Disney when we first arrive anyway. Earl of Sandwich, a walk round the shops, couple of drinks and an early night ready for a full-on park onslaught the next day :D

Someone just told me on another forum (I know, what a traitor I am! :fork: :ROFLOL: ) that the passes for on site used to be 'length of stay" passes so were valid the whole duration of your stay however long, but now they are just valid for literally 14 days.

I think I'll have to ask at check-in, don't want to waste a half day if I'll lose out, but if you have just done this in August then it should be the same right?

Mmmm... Earl of Sandwich. :slurp: My next trip can't come soon enough.

EDIT: Interestingly enough, every poster so far is from the UK. How long until the first Yank says something? :D

It would probably be cheaper to buy an annual pass than to buy 14 day tickets unless you are using the dinning plan. That way you wouldn't have to worry about the expiration date.

Annual Passes currently sell for $434 or $559 (£217 or £279) while a 14 day pass from the UK for 2008 costs around £175.

So unless meryll83 plans on returning within 12 months a 14 day ticket will be cheaper

They have different ticket options to us - plus the title of the thread says UK - maybe they're scared :lookaroun
