DHS Disney Confirms Muppets Take Over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

I'm not sure. My understanding was that it was to be a mix of artists and Electric Mayhem.

The last thing I heard - this was about a month ago - was that the music recording sessions were running behind schedule.

They had at least one artist they really wanted but apparently waited too long to actually get the session on the books, and now it conflicts with the artist's schedule. I don't know where they're at on that now.

Fleetwood Mac has had an almost indescribably huge rise in popularity with Gen Z and I’m not entirely sure what the origin of it is but I’m glad they have

Gonna counter that U2’s best stuff is their 90s stuff (Achtung Baby is better than Joshua Tree fight me) and that is perfect for a roller coaster !!
Acthung Baby might be the 🐐

Jim Shull said they also couldn't afford the Rolling Stones. In retrospect I think Aerosmith was the best choice of those three.
I am not sure if the reality was that they couldn't "Afford" it or were more likely "unwilling to pay" I would be more inclined to believe the latter for a company with the financial resorces of WDC.

I'm talking Boy, War, October, and some of Unforgettable Fire.
When The Edge played with Edge.
When Bono's voice was powerful.
When the band was fresh, hungry and angry.
The performance captured on Live Under a Blood Red Sky.
Songs like Two Hearts Beat as One.

We both agree that Unforgettable Fire is magical, right?
War is, by far, my favorite U2 album. I think it may be their most "rock" album, although they certainly have a few bangers scattered throughout. I haven't really cared for anything since Achtung Baby. I do not think they would be a good fit for this ride and it is surprising to me that they were a consideration.

I do love that stuff too! I love their catalogue all the way up to 05 and then some stuff after. The 90s is def my favorite but I see why people give deference to the first four 100%

while I agree with the overall sentiment that U2 would have been a bad fit for the ride and that their earlier stuff is far greater than their post 90’s work I will say that I could see Beautiful Day being a fun rollercoaster track on the right kind of ride.
You know I could too. Very bright and euphoric feeling track maybe for something with cool lighting or scenery.
