Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
OK, I’m watchin’ “The Wedding Singer” on cable.
Sammy the limo driver does the limo driver test and hubcaps are flyin’ everywhere.
It reminded me of something I forgot to post the other day.
Somebody behind me at a light pulled out of a store parking lot and ran over the curb while doing so. They ended up pulling into the far left lane with their hubcap following them, and then it rested on the far left curb just behind them…you can’t make this stuff up. They had no clue, and there the hubcap stayed…!!!!! :hilarious:
They were coooooones.
Mike says this all the time!

I had a weird spider experience a few years back. I walked into the bathroom and there, on the floor, was the largest spider I had ever seen. I don't remember the exact progression of it, but I somehow killed it, I think, and that bulk of a spider ended up being made up of a massive number of baby spiders that were riding on the back of what I can only assume was Mom (Mum, for the old English speaking folks). It seemed like there must have been at least a hundred of those little black, six legged, creatures scattering all over my bathroom floor. I managed to quickly grab a can of what was originally spray to kill ants and thankfully it worked on baby spiders. As cute as they may be, the very last thing I needed was an army of them maturing to full size and remembering I was the one that offed their old lady. She, even without the massive number of hitch-hikers, was still quite large.

I don't think I ever updated you on my shoes search fiasco. Well, last I told you I found a pair that I liked and fit well. About that... I wore them to Disneyland. I had worn them about a week before that to work. I wore them for 2.5 days in the park. When we were walking back to the hotel after a morning, I started noticing it felt like I was stepping on something in the heel. I checked to make sure nothing was stuck to the bottom. Nope. I kept walking.

It continued on. I checked again. Still nothing. Turns out that "bubble" on the Air Max Nike shoes I bought got a leak" in them somewhere and had become soft. They still looked normal, but I'm guessing that's the reason. It's not something I could ever get past. It literally felt like there was a garden rock under my heel every step. So when I got home, I returned them and said they were defective. I should be able to use them for more than two weeks before that happens.

So now I'm wearing the second pair of shoes I ordered that were cheaper. I currently am trying to figure out the right size on another pair. I have two pairs ready to ship back because they were quite ugly when I saw them in person. I also just ordered a pair of On Cloudtilt shoes. I saw someone wearing them in the Santa Ana airport, and I really liked them. I looked them up when I got home. But I currently have 6 pairs of shoes in circulation right now. One of these days I'll find the right pair.

Checking in to say that I had my knee surgery and all went well. They did have to do the lateral release to get the knee cap to track properly, which I figured because CT scans and MRI kept showing it was subluxed. It's painful but tolerable. My gallbladder surgery and ankle repair surgery were wayyyy worse pain wise.

Glad to hear it went well. Hope the healing goes smoothly also.
