You're wrong on this one.But other than that, sure, it looks totally different...

To me, it's sleeker and stands out better than the old sign.
So it’s mostly the graphics from old sign over the door placed onto a new sign with fewer things in the background. So much for “new and exciting”, I guess.
Hmmm...
Purple "Buzz Lightyear's"?
Green "Space Ranger Spin"?
Space-y/starry background?
Fewer things in the background?
Oh, and they got rid of the Microsoft Word 3D text for the green stuff.
But other than that, sure, it looks totally different...

and would love to see aesthetics return to mickeys star traders, they sure blanded that space into nothing. All this detheming not a fan of, but I do think buzz turned out looking nice even if not as wild and loud.Would love to see Merchant of Venus get a similar update across the street
I mean Space Ranger Spin is a completely different font. The lighting gradient on all the text is different. The perspective effect is completely different. The planet in the background has completely changed location and perspective. Even the yellow stars and background space pattern are completely different.
Here is a walkthrough of the queue and a POV of the ride

Agreed - MILF was a poor choice here. Tron looks interesting but ultimately is a pretty empty ride with lots of blank walls and very little actual storytelling. Speedway is an anachronism - perhaps they will remake it using the Cars technology - but agreed that is unlikely before the 2030’s. Buzz looks like a winner at least.are we? feels like a baby step every 3 years or more.....As long as half of the attractions are either shut down(SGE) or have nothing to do with the theme of Tomorrowland (MILF), we don't really seem to be getting anywhere... Aside from painting the rocks, which I guess are the only placemaking set pieces we are getting, there has been a whole lot of nothing going on in Tomorrowland. and now I am sure we will get nothing for at least another 5 years while they build Carsland and Villains....so maybe in 2031 they can begin working on reopening all of Tomorrowland with attractions that actually support the theme? Maybe a speedway that feels like it is in the proper context and style to be in Tomorrowland....Maybe a worthy entrance to the land instead of "rocks"....because rocks always feel futuristic? Honestly I would have preferred them to tackle Tomorrowland before ever pushing into the ROA area....Make the park that exists the best it can be before expanding...then during the 5 years of construction, at least the land opposite the construction zone would be in great shape, beautiful, and fully functioning.... Vs what we have now ...
It's different enough and it no longer looks like they just painted over the old marquee for Dreamflight anymore.
As an aside they really need to re-theme the outside of the former AE/SGE building that tower still being there really makes no sense and clashes with the aesthetic they are continuing to establish. BTW, on a related note I have updated my history of MK's Tomorrowland to reflect these changes.Disney has shared a first look at the new marquee:

I actually have to agree with you and yes, I know it is strange for me to be the one saying that.
I agree they really should have done this throwback to 1971 Tomorrowland all around the same time rather than just slowly phasing it in over the last fifteen years like they have been doing let alone thinking they have to do what they are doing to Frontierland beforehand. The priorities for MK over the past decade plus have been quite bizarre.are we? feels like a baby step every 3 years or more.....As long as half of the attractions are either shut down(SGE) or have nothing to do with the theme of Tomorrowland (MILF), we don't really seem to be getting anywhere... The funny thing about the re-theming of that store is with the removal of the "Mickey's" in the name it is one of the few times in WDW history that something with an IP attached actually had it's IP tie-in removed. Only other one I can think of is Circle of Life into Awesome Planet. In the last ten years especially, that is virtually unheard of.and would love to see aesthetics return to mickeys star traders, they sure blanded that space into nothing. All this detheming not a fan of, but I do think buzz turned out looking nice even if not as wild and loud.
