I don't think they confirmed anything about an Encanto meet-and-greet space at TA, but I think it's very likely we will get an Encanto and Indiana Jones meet-and-greets at TA somewhereAn Encanto meet-and-greet is (I believe) confirmed, but I could also see them doing one for Indiana Jones as well.
If their name can't be mentioned, then neither should any of their content. The issue is that I can't mention where it came from due to the source's name being blocked on the forumsite. If I could credit them without the name being censored I absolutely would mention them
"Jerry for Gods sake turn cardinal north, you're fading too much on the side!!!!"Part of this testing site to see how attraction elements stand up to the weather, they're also testing the durability of Cast Members in the elements...

And the answer to "how many Cast Members does it take to watch grass grow?" would be five.Part of this testing site to see how attraction elements stand up to the weather, they're also testing the durability of Cast Members in the elements...

I don't understand why they can't be mentioned anymore. They got their Disney press pass back. But I also wasn't around when they were banned. If their name can't be mentioned, then neither should any of their content.

Thanks for the info! I didn't realize this was a 20 year old issue. This is a 20 year old issue that this site management had with the owner. Nothing to do with their losing a press pass or most of their staff, but a relatively old schism with the owner.
Behaviour like losing a press pass more than a decade later affirms their position. Considering how lightly this forum is moderated and how little is on the black list, I’d tend to side that the problem is one sided and correctly they’ve chosen here to just have no part of it.
I’m still wondering about this because why would they need to test a set piece from the attraction if it’s inside a show building 100 percent of time.
Is this supposed to be additional theming surrounding the Casita facade?

This was the basis for my thought that maybe they are just trying to observe them in natural light because they plan on letting natural light into one of the rooms via skylight(s) or whatever, especially if one room is said to be transformed into a rainforest. If studio lighting is wrong for the application, then wouldn't that also indicate that that indoor ride lighting is also not correct for the scene? These tests aren’t really about weathering. There isn’t time to sit around waiting to watch them for years. It’s about techniques, the ability to replicate them as desired and seeing them at scale. Being outside also provides natural light instead of something like a warehouse where the lighting would be completely wrong.
That actually makes a whole lot of sense.Just a bit of speculation on my part, but maybe there's a plan to let natural light into one of the rooms of the attraction?

"Inside the Casita, Antonio has just received his special gift — the ability to communicate with animals — and his room has transformed into a rainforest."
I always appreciate your perspective. These tests aren’t really about weathering. There isn’t time to sit around waiting to watch them for years. It would be a really cool to see them mimic the lighting you typically see in rainforest.
Is the Encanto ride confirmed? Is it a boat, is it a vehicle?
This thread has lots of information from trusted insiders. It’s not a boat ride. It’s been described as similar to the figment ride system. That was going to be my next question, as I haven't heard anything yet.
Thanks. Did you mean this exact thread or a different one on this forum. This one is only a few pages long, and I admittedly read through it pretty quickly, so maybe I missed something about the Encanto ride system. This thread has lots of information from trusted insiders. I forgot that this is also a dedicated construction thread that is actually not a dedicated construction thread (sarcasm).Thanks. Did you mean this exact thread or a different one on this forum. That was going to be my next question, as I haven't heard anything yet. If we still don't know, I'm honestly surprised that we haven't actually gotten a leak or ride patent application or anything of the sort yet, at least that I'm aware of.
