MK Cinderella Castle Set to Return to Classic Color Scheme

So with the Castle now looking beautiful again with its refreshed paint job, can we expect a refresh of paint on this building opposite it -

I don’t recall if this shop has always had these colors, but looks to me like it was repainted to match the former ‘EARidescent’ Castle hues.
Would be nice to see it revert to its former color scheme as it’s a bit jarring walking this back pathway…but perhaps that is just my seasoned eyes
Someone can correct me if I’m wrong on this, but I’m pretty sure that’s been some variation of that color for a very long time. Like, in the neighborhood of at least a few decades, if not more.

The castle looked so faded in 2019 because it had been so long since it was last painted. I believe in 2006 when the Happiest Celebration on Earth decorations came down (when it also looked very faded)

It wasn't really an accurate representation of that colour scheme, but a sign it was time for another refurb

I remember them at least touching up parts of the castle around 2015-2016, there was a brief period a lot turrets had silver primer. So honestly they may do touch up work every 3-5 years, especially on the blue turrets, so a repainting was due even if they had kept the rose gold, which I’m glad they didn’t.

Bio is updating aerials today.

Looks like someone assaulted a beautiful watercolor with a blue sharpie. Still not finished. Here's my oldest photo of the castle from 1981. Pretty dark there, though they seem lighter at the top which is something that helps with forced perspective.

Here's 2001 and where I probably get my bias for wanting a softer, more balanced look overall:

Most of the heavy lifting for the forced perspective of the castle was done with trees around the castle, for the "unveiling" view from the entrance to Main Street USA, which have basically been removed. Some pictures I've seen from 1976-77 don't appear to have any different paint colors higher up on the castle, so I don't know if that was something that was done in the later 70's/very early 80's for a while or are just shadows in the pictures you've shared (which are very welcome! I love seeing older photos from the parks).

Honestly very bland, but certainly nice. The blues seem very consistent top to bottom. Having visited the parks most every decade since 1981, I've seen the castle in many hues (even the abhorrent cake). I'm fine with a nod to the past, but hope they keep experimenting with the look every now and then.
The tuba in the foreground does enhance the forced perspective.
