MLB 2026 Discussion Thread (Current Champions: Los Angeles Dodgers)

There have been alot of issues in the last few years with what network a team's games are going to be shown on. It doesn't seem like that long ago when most teams broadcasted on their local Fox Sports affiliate. I'm lucky to be a fan of a team who shows their games on the network that is owned by the corporation that owns the team.
3 maybe 4 different paywall services the Dodgers games appear on.
Used to subscribe to Apple for the few games it features but unsubscribing is now a real hassle.
So we just lump and watch what appears on SNLA and the few on Prime.
They may get greedy and take this PPV too far and take a bath in it.

I’m a Mets fan & a Jets fan…miserable ALL year long…☹️
The media sports talk a thons were talking up positive about Mets pitching as their batting was good.

Looked so promising, then they backed into hell.

When a player doesn’t perform as expected, then relegating to the minors with a pay cut should be mandatory.
It work pretty good in the UK for entire teams.

That’s great in theory, but with the strong players unions and agents like Scott Boris, that ain’t gonna happen…

Paul Skenes, the Pirates phenom pitcher was taken out of the game after just 37 pitches! Mets are up 9-5 in the top of the 6th…I’ll savor this ‘cause like I said, the dumpster fire will soon begin…

Just wait until Bichette's throwing arm gets into peak mid-season form. I used to literally hold my breath whenever he fielded a ground ball.

If i could still drive, id be heading down 95 as we speak…lol
The ball tends to carry better when the weather gets warmer so hopefully there are good things to come from Polar Bear. He seems like a great guy. I do not know your situation but I know people who take the Amtrak from NY or NJ to come to an O’s game every now then. We would love to have you at Oriole Park. They did some renovations over the offseason.

Thanks for the invitation! My DD & her boyfriend (HUGE baseball fans -UGH Phillies!), were there last year and had nothing but positive things to say about the “yards”…they want to visit every MLB park…

I want to try to get to all of the MLB ballparks over my lifetime and am halfway there. I go to a bunch of O’s games and even one Nats game every season.

Chris Sale smacking himself in the head with the baseball during his tantrum yesterday was probably the most embarrassing thing to be witnessed in Braves pitching history since the days of John Rocker.
