No I am serious. Put me in the category of those who do not like this. I believe that category of those who agree with me is larger than some negative comments posted here.Wow, are you serious now or just trolling?

You've got to remember, there are only a handful of regular posters on this forum, and a good chunk of them really like the Muppets and would like to see more of them in the Disney parks. No I am serious. I would say after catching up with the thread.. you conceded those points with further discussion. But my response was to your initial post - so I'd say you came around to those itemsI am aware of these factors (the car facing forwards so you don’t see the body from further back an thus it taking up a small part of your field of view, the archway being set back and having a design language that fits Sunset Blvd) and I listed them several times in earlier posts as examples of the care that WDI put into integrating the entrance. (It’s completely understandable that you wouldn’t be going through all that discussion, so this isn’t a criticism of you.)
I'd say it's almost behind you. The structures from the F! entrance all the way down towards ToT, and the ToT itself draw all eyeballs and Field of view to that direction. ToT isn't at the 12oclock position at the end of the street, but more like 1-2oclock. That turns people away from RnRC's side street - making that area behind the line of trees basically 'over the shoulder' like I said. Reducing any visual noise/conflict.However, I also do not think it’s impossible for it to have that effect, because it is visible in your periphery when looking around as you walk down the street (rather than requiring one to be looking directly at it on purpose) for approximately the same stretch of walk that the arch is visible.
I am not specifically against the Muppets, I am just against the Muppets in this attraction. You've got to remember, there are only a handful of regular posters on this forum, and a good chunk of them really like the Muppets and would like to see more of them in the Disney parks.
I like the muppets but I don’t love this. It’s fine. I wish the pre-show with the penguins could be enjoyed without waiting in line - that’s the only part I’m looking forward to.You've got to remember, there are only a handful of regular posters on this forum, and a good chunk of them really like the Muppets and would like to see more of them in the Disney parks.
Maybe you need to be reminded the Muppets were not immune to sexual misconduct allegations behind the scenes.Calling The Muppets unlikable is really something. They are some of the most charming fictional characters ever created.
I am genuinely excited about it. The Muppets are wonderful, the coaster doesn’t have to get the axe, and I don’t have to listen to the music of a child predator at Disney. I really personally have no downside in this.
Neither was Pixar….. your point?Maybe you need to be reminded the Muppets were not immune to sexual misconduct allegations behind the scenes.
A claim was made "and I don’t have to listen to the music of a child predator at Disney” as if the Muppets had clean hands.Neither was Pixar….. your point?
And may I ask who you’re talking about??Maybe you need to be reminded the Muppets were not immune to sexual misconduct allegations behind the scenes.
A puppeteer.And may I ask who you’re talking about??
Maybe not, but they care about music, and Aerosmith is a better band.
I’m assuming you’re talking about the Elmo puppeteer.A puppeteer.
Clash was involved with Muppet productions. You position that you don’t like Aerosmith so Tyler is bad, but you do like the Muppets so you provide a defense for them, does show you do need a better explanation for your bias.I’m assuming you’re talking about the Elmo puppeteer.
In which case, Elmo is not a part of this attraction, and even if he was (and he can’t be so I’m doing this purely for the sake of your ridiculous argument) Clash has not portrayed Elmo for almost 15 years so his work would not be present in the ride at all.
Steven Tyler always has been and currently still is the lead singer of Aerosmith and he himself was in the actual ride prominently.
Surely I do not have to explain what is different there.
Imagine telling someone 10 years ago that Disney would remove RoA entirely before updating Figment
I do honestly miss the days when most of what happened over the last decade sounded absurd.Maybe a bit further back than that. 10 years ago Galaxies Edge was spinning up and there was also that strong push by WDI to replace Tokyo’s River with Radiator Springs. It would have been more shocking before those things were on the table.
10 years ago was when Guardians replacing ToT and UoE both sounded equally unhinged.
When was that!? I don’t remember hearing about that anywhere.that strong push by WDI to replace Tokyo’s River with Radiator Springs.

Funny it read like that to you, as those factors have always been part of what I've appreciated (and discussed on various occasions here over the years) about RnRC's design. Whether they'd "break" the success of that design was precisely my concern.I would say after catching up with the thread.. you conceded those points with further discussion. But my response was to your initial post - so I'd say you came around to those itemsI don't think it's going to be a major concern for those reasons. It simply is largely 'out of view' except for once the guest has commited to the path to RnRC.
I'd say it's almost behind you. The structures from the F! entrance all the way down towards ToT, and the ToT itself draw all eyeballs and Field of view to that direction. We still have to see if they muck with the arch - but given the streamline we've seen so far, it looks like minimal changes.
Personally I've always hated the RnRC exterior.. but since it's mostly down in that pocket, its more out of sight, out of mind. I always found the 'curb appeal' of it lacking and more like the guitar in front of a warehouse.
Ah! I remember part of that but didn’t realize radiator springs was one of the pitches. Then when they said no they really pushed Pandora in 2015. Then they really said no and told them to stop trying to use OLC to partially fund their domestic parks R&D.
I know….. I’ve got to get over there before it goes away! We’ve still even more recently seen height test balloons there. They’ve been circling on those rivers for more than a decade.
I do like Aerosmith, which is what sucked about finding out what he did. I grew up with my parents playing them. They were one of my favorites. But when I learned the reality of what he’d been up to, I dropped them from my life because actively consuming their work continues to profit him.Clash was involved with Muppet productions.
